Gospel: John 20: 19 - 23
Jewish tradition saw Pentecost as the Feast of the giving of the Law on Mount
Sinai. A mighty wind turned to fire, seventy tongues of fire representing the 70 nations
of the world. Luke too uses the mighty wind and tongues of fire on Pentecost coming
upon the apostles. This Holy Spirit does not scatter but unites.
The Archdiocese inspected both plants,
St. Cecilia's & St. Mary's, for maintenance and  June 26 ... St. Mary's Family Picnic  June ... Kids Trip to Six‐Flags upkeep of properties last week. The inspection
 July 16 ... Marin Priests Dinner reports were both plants are in top rate and
 July 17 ... Parish Bicycle Outing high standing.
 July 24 ... Parish Picnic at St. Cecilia's Father John Glogowski, our former
pastor, 1991-1995, is retiring. St. Cecilia's and
*** St. Mary's sent our congrats to him and wishing him a happy retirement.
Congratulations to the graduates, FaFa and Savannah. We wish them well in
their college years.
Our aim is to completed the Archdiocesan Appeal Drive by the end of June to
conclude the fiscal year. Please make checks payable to St. Cecilia or St. Mary with a
note 'AAA'. We thank the families and individuals who have contributed to the fund.
Parish cruise 2012 is Panama Canal in April 2012. If interested, contact Fr. O'.
Wednesday, June 29th, 5:30 p.m. Mass at St. Sebastian's, Greenbrae, honoring
all priests and for more vocations, with Bishop Daly concelebrating. Holy Hour before
Mass and dinner after Mass. Contact Bonnie de Rutte for info.
