ST. MARY SCHOLARSHIPS
The purpose of St. Mary scholarships is to assist seven St. Mary parishioners to continue
their education. These scholarships are available to members of the parish who plan to
enroll in a post-secondary program for the 2015-2016 academic year. Seven awards of
$1000.00 each will be granted.
The winners of these scholarships will be selected based on an evaluation of the following:
A well-written essay of 300 words
One letter of recommendation
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Participation and leadership in Parish activities
Participation in community activities
Awards will be made payable to the institutions the winners choose to attend.
Please include the following on your application:
A 300 word essay on the importance of leadership and service in the Parish and the
Community.
One letter of recommendation from an adult in the parish (Not a relative).
REMEMBER, PLEASE, THAT AN INCOMPLETE APPLICATION MAY DELAY OR
ELIMINATE APPLICANTS FROM CONSIDERATION. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST
BE RECEIVED BY THURSDAY, APRIL 30TH AT 4:00 P.M.
