entire Oratory and pray before a
reliquary of Saint André, known as
the “Miracle Man of Montréal” for healing thousands
of the faithful. Canonized as a saint in 2010, he was
known for countless miracles at the Oratory. More
than 1 million people paid their respects upon his
death in 1937 and 2 million visit his shrine each year.

Day 1: Wednesday, June 17
Day 3: Friday, June 19
Late afternoon arrival/check in at Queen Elizabeth Hotel
– Rene Levesque Blvd. W., Montreal, Quebec (514-8613511). Luggage handling is included here, as are the buffet
breakfasts at hotel restaurant each morning. Check in,
relax and freshen up for dinner.
7:30 a.m. American buffet breakfast at Le Montrealais
(hotel restaurant)
7 p.m. Dinner at The Vieux Port Restaurant (choice of soup/
salad, main course: choice of grilled NY cut steak served
w/baked potato or grilled chicken breast served w/French
fries & fresh vegetables or filet of Tilapia served w/wild rice
& fresh vegetables; dessert & coffee/tea). Return to hotel
for the evening following dinner.
Day 2: Thursday, June 18
7:30 a.m. American buffet breakfast at Le Montrealais
(hotel restaurant)
9 a.m. Three-hour Montreal City Tour – pickup at hotel.
Tour to include Notre-Dame Basilica, St Catherine Street,
St. Helen Island, Mont-Royal, The Old Fort, Place Jacques
Cartier and more. Drop off at Notre-Dame Basilica.
11:30 a.m. Visit of Notre-Dame Basilica. Guide will leave
group here for a visit and Mass. The church’s Gothic Revival
architecture is among the most dramatic in the world; its
interior is grand and colorful. It’s filled with hundreds of
intricate wooden carvings and several religious statues.
Unusual for a church, stained glass windows along the
walls or the sanctuary do not depict biblical scenes, but
rather scenes from the religious history of Montreal. It
also has a Casavant Freres pipe organ, dated 1891.
12:15 p.m. Mass at Notre-Dame Basilica. You will have
free time following Mass for lunch on your own.
2:30 p.m. Visit St. Joseph Oratory (on own)*
– St .Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal is a
Roman Catholic minor basilica and national shrine on Westmount Summit in
Montreal, Quebec. It is Canada’s largest
church. A reliquary in the church museum contains Brother Andre’s heart,
which he requested as a protection
for the basilica.
* This is “on own” because they
require only cash here on arrival.
Possibly time to return to hotel
here & freshen up for dinner.
6:30 p.m. Dinner buffet at
Restaurant Kim Foo – Chinese &
Canadian buffet. Return to hotel
for evening.
Day 5: Sunday, June 21
7:30 a.m. American buffet breakfast at Hotel Classique (includes orange juice, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham or sausage, home fried potatoes, toast, pancake/waffle, maple
syrup, butter & assorted fruit jams, coffee/tea/milk).
9 a.m. Five-hour St. Anne de Beaupre Tour – pickup at
Place Royale. Includes drive along Old King’s Road with
stops at Montmorency Falls, The Copper Shop, famous St.
Anne de Beaupre Shrine and much more.
9 a.m. Visit to the Olympic Tower & Botanical Gardens
– visit 2 of Montreal’s major tourist attractions. Enjoy a
breathtaking view of Montreal from the world’s tallest
inclined tower, then visit the Botanical Garden to celebrate
nature’s diversity at one of the world’s largest attractions
of its kind.
10:30 a.m. St. Anne Basilica – The Shrine of St. Anne de
Beaupre welcomes almost a million visitors annually. For
more than 350 years, people of all ages have been gathering at this Shrine. Through the beauty of numerous artistic
masterpieces, discover its extraordinary history.
12:10 p.m. French Mass at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral. Following Mass, you enjoy lunch on own and free
time – there’s much to see & do within walking distance of
your hotel.
11 a.m. French Mass at the St. Anne de Beaupre Basilica.
Following Mass, enjoy lunch on your own here.
6 p.m. Dinner at restaurant Pub St. Paul (soup of day,
choice of chicken brochette served w/rice, salad & French
fries, BBQ chicken w/rice, salad & FF or flank steak w/
mushroom sauce served w/salad & French fries, or Vegetarian trio of fettuccini alfredo, penne w/creamy rose
sauce and salad, dessert, soda/coffee/tea). Return to hotel
for the evening.
1 p.m. Visit the Copper Shop and then enjoy some free
time this afternoon to shop & browse in Old Quebec.
6:30 p.m. Dinner at Chemins du Roy – dinner & entertainment here (homemade pickles, homemade bread &
butter, French-Canadian pea soup, coleslaw, baked beans,
maple-smoked ham, traditional Quebecois meat pie,
meatballs, potatoes, pork rinds, pancakes w/maple syrup,
coffee/tea/milk, maple taffy on snow!). Dinner is followed
by traditional music and a chance to play the wooden
spoons. Restaurant located in the woods, just a few minutes from Quebec City. Return to hotel for the evening.
Day 4: Saturday, June 20
7 a.m. American buffet breakfast at Le Montrealais (hotel
restaurant)
8:30 a.m. Check out & depart for Quebec City. Enjoy
lunch on own in Quebec City.
12:30 p.m. Two-hour Quebec City Tour – pickup at Place
Royale. Tour will include The Plains of Abraham, Cape
Diamond, Joan of Arc Garden, Grande-Allee, Parliament, Placed’Armes, Old Quebec, Chateau Frontenac & Place Royale.
Day 6: Monday, June 22
Shrine of Saint Anne
7:30 a.m. Checkout and depart for 8 a.m. French Mass
at Notre-Dame Baslica – In the heart of Old Quebec, the
Basilica houses the tomb of St. Fancols de Lava! Depart for
home following Mass.
3 p.m. Visit & Mass at the Jesus-Marie
Convent, home of Blessed Dina Belanger
– Sister Celestine welcomes you
5:15 p.m. Arrival and Check in at
Hotel Classique – luggage handling
is included here, as are the buffet breakfasts at hotel restaurant
each morning. Check in, relax and
freshen up for dinner.
