Efficient working capital management is an important cornerstone for a strong internal financing capability. Instead of using external funding, companies can release
valuable internal liquidity reserves, if they control their processes in the best possible
way. It is important to know the cost drivers and how they can be continuously improved. To date, companies largely use typical indicators such as DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), DPO (Days Payables Outstanding) and DIO (Days Inventory Outstanding)
on specific reporting dates for their analysis. These indicators are, surely, of importance for an overview of the working capital level, however, they only provide limited
options for an active control, not least because of the focus on reporting dates. For
an efficient working capital management and a sustainable release of liquidity the

With the FinanceSuite Working Capital Management Hanse Orga offers an innovative, web-based
tool with which you can automatically - for the first
time - collect all relevant document and transaction
data for your working capital management (e.g.,
delivery/service date, document date, payment
period, payment receipt, cash discounts and other
discounts, etc.) from the underlying SAP ® and nonSAP® systems and evaluate them in real time and in
a straight-forward manner.
Whereas, previously, such information had to be
collected with great manual efforts, now the data
are available automatically and fast. This facilitates
continuous analyses that deliver much more detailed information than before.
Numerous user-defined views can be set with this
tool: with drill-down functions you can access the
detailed information for specific customers, affiliated companies, material groups down to specific
documents, etc. With this you can achieve the highest degree of transparency at any time, not just on
defined reporting dates.
The FinanceSuite Working Capital Management
allows, for the first time, an ongoing monitoring of
how much cash is actually locked up where in the
company and which costs or charges are incurred
in the income statement because of it. A concise list
lets you identify cost drivers immediately so that you
can take immediate action to improve processes and
leverage potentials. By transparently uncovering
internal process inefficiencies, a benchmarking
against the ideal situation is enabled, which thus
creates important incentives to always optimize financial processes.
