Kangaroo Design and Innovation enter into a joint venture with
Borsuk Contract manufacturing, Israel, to bring Toronto a local
medical device, instrumentation and technology contract
manufacturing presence.
We are happy to announce the expansion of our relationship with Borsuk Contract Manufacturing
Ltd., from Israel and the establishment of Kangaroo Borsuk Toronto (KBT) Contract
Manufacturing Inc., adjacent to the Kangaroo Design & Innovation offices at 5 Adrian Ave,
Toronto.
KBT will focus on medical devices and instrumentation, offering low-volume, pre-production runs
and serial manufacturing. We are building a local manufacturing presence that is integrated into
the existing Kangaroo product development system, at off-shore manufacturers’ pricing.
KBT relies on Borsuk’s infrastructure which includes strategic purchasing, value engineering, full
ERP and a variety of in-house fabrication capabilities in addition to many years of experience in
manufacturing and assembly of complex instruments and medical devices within a controlled ISO
9001 Quality Management system, KBT plans to be ISO 13485 certified by December of this
year.
