Johnson Controls Inc., Amcor Rigid Plastics and Johns Hopkins to Join Dolphin in Three Educational
Sessions on Planning, Communication and Testing
West Chester, Pa and Morgan Hill, Calif. (May 8, 2013) – Dolphin, a solutions provider and SAP
software solution and technology partner, will exhibit and co-present with three of its customers: Johnson
Controls Inc., Amcor Rigid Plastics and Johns Hopkins University at SAPPHIRE® NOW and the ASUG
Annual Conference at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. May 14–16. Johnson
Controls will share its experience automating and optimizing accounts payable in a shared services
environment; Amcor Rigid Plastics and Johns Hopkins will present their data archiving strategies. During
the conference, Dolphin exhibits in booth 1725.

Johnson Controls’ Accounts Payable in a Shared Services
Environment

Johnson Controls Automotive division tackled issues surrounding its outsourced accounts payable
program by bringing these processes back in-house through a global, centralized shared services
environment scalable to meet the needs of more than 180 plants worldwide. Learn what deficiencies and
gaps the outsourced accounts payable and reporting solution created and how the in-house process
which is based on SAP software has resolved expensive inefficiencies to provide visibility into the
process, saving $7 million the first year.
Start to Finish: Johns Hopkins’ 2012 Data Archiving Project

Learn how Johns Hopkins planned and managed its project for archiving SAP data in a very complex
environment. Hear how the organization identified staffing requirements, evaluated and selected a third
party solution prior to the implementation, and devised and implemented the overall strategy. Attendees
will learn about all areas of a data archiving project: understanding what data archiving includes, selecting
the appropriate scope, coordinating the necessary resources and executing a cohesive set of tests.
