2014-2015 Course Registration
Welcome to the online course registration process. Please use your course registration worksheet
and follow the directions below for entering your courses for the 2014-2015 school year. Online
course selections must be completed by Tuesday 1/28/14 and the worksheet must be returned to
your 4th period teacher with your parent’s signature at this time.
Please be aware that online course registration can only be accessed in the Student’s portal,
not the Parent portal. If you have not logged in to your home access account and need help
pick up instructions from the Horseshoe or the Library.
Registration Directions:
1. Log in to the Home Access Center found under Student on the CHS website
2. Select the Home Icon on the top menu bar and go to the School Links tab-select Video

3. Review the following items to assist in your course selection:
• Course Planning Guide for 2014-15, also found under the School Links tab
• Your transcript -select the Grades Icon on the top Menu bar, click on the
Transcript tab
• Current schedule – select the Classes Icon, click on the Schedule tab
• Graduation Plans –found under the School Links tab
4. Complete your hard copy yellow Course Selection Worksheet and read the Schedule
Change Policy on the back side. Be sure it is signed by both you and your parent.
5. Go to the Course Requests tab – Select the Classes Icon, select the Requests tab to enter
the courses from your Course Selections Worksheet. Be sure to save your selections and
confirm that your courses total 7 credits or complete a 7 period day. Once you have
entered and saved all your courses you are finished.
You must enter your course selections prior to Tuesday January 28, 2014. Registration can be
done on your iPad either at home or at school. You can view the courses you have selected at
any time in Home Access. Once the registration window is closed your can make changes to
your course requests at your grade level conference with your counselor or until the last day or
school through appointment with your counselor.

Please turn in your course registration form to your 4th period teacher with signatures on Tuesday
January 28, 2014, and be sure that you have saved you course selections online.
