AP US History Summer Reading Dear Students, I am going to ask you to read four chapters and one nonfiction novel over the summer. I am not asking for notes on the chapters, but I suggest that you do something to note the important information so you can refer to it in order to prepare for the AP Exam. I want you to start by reading Chapter 30 and 31 in America’s History. The purpose for this is that you know where we currently are. The rest of history will lead us to this moment and the decisions made today will become part of our history. After reading Chapters 30 and 31, I want you to read Chapters 1 and 2. This part summarizes the beginning of America and will be the spring board from which we analyze the rest of our history. All the work will be due on the 1st day of class.
