Prerequisites: Math 151 or Math 144 or Math 112 with a grade of C or better. Course Objectives: The main objective of this course is to help students develop the ability to read, understand, construct and write elementary proofs. These skills are necessary for geometry and abstract algebra. The students will also learn some elements of logic and set theory as well as familiarize themselves with different methods of proof.
