COURSE OUTLINE:
WATCHGUARD TRAIN THE TRAINER
WatchGuard Train the Trainer course is a key step in qualifying a new trainer to join the WatchGuard
Training team. Generally conducted in Seattle, these sessions are delivered by senior WatchGuard
trainers with years of experience in instructor-led technical training and WatchGuard products. We
introduce the new trainer to our training program, tools, and curriculum. In addition, the trainer learns
about WatchGuard history, meets product and development managers, learns the inner workings of
our support organization. Finally, we review how to create a productive training environment for
delivering instructor-led courses using WatchGuard products.
Prerequisite
Before attending the class, you need technical certification in one or more of our product lines at the
System Professional level. Additional contractual requirements for certification are described in the
WatchGuard Certified Training Partner contract. Sales certification in one or more product lines is
recommended.
Duration
1 days – preference given to delivery at WatchGuard corporate headquarters in Seattle, Washington.
Materials
Participants receive a package of materials including (but not limited to) a WatchGuard Certified
Trainer shirt, instructor guides for WatchGuard technical training, samples of classroom training tools,
and other branded items as available.

Spend time with Product Management, Support, Engineering, and Sales team members (Seattle only)
Tour corporate headquarters (Seattle only)
Identify continuing education opportunities available to WatchGuard Certified Trainers
Availability
Due to unique nature of this course, the WatchGuard Train the Trainer course is offered regularly only
at WatchGuard’s corporate headquarters in Seattle, Washington. On prior arrangement, we can offer it
at a training partner site, however we find the course considerably less productive for the trainer. For
