King Galbatorix of Alagaesia, who is trying to capture Eragon. Galbatorix was the only known Dragon Rider left, and wanted Eragon either on his side or dead. Because of
Galbatorix’s cruel reign and the fact he slaughtered all the Riders, Eragon refuses and is forced to run from Galbatorix’s men as he chases the Raz’ac, his uncle’s killers and servants of the king, all across the land. Eventually he is forced to take hiding with the
Varden, a rebel group. However, the Varden’s secret hiding place is attacked, and Eragon and his dragon Saphira must fight. Whether or not the young Rider survives is for the reader to find out.
This book is action packed and filled with a fascinating plot. I would recommend it to all old enough to read such a long book and that like fantasy and action. I would give it 5 stars.
