Be Included in the Shaker Heights Schools Family Directory
The Shaker Heights Schools Family Directory is a handy resource and a great
way for High School families to connect. It includes the information that
parents/guardians choose to enter, such as student names, schools and
grade level, family addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses.
The directory is for the exclusive use of families and staff members of the
Shaker Heights City School District. The directory information will not be
used for any commercial, political, or non-profit purposes.
To be included in the directory, families must enter their information using
the online form by going to www.shaker.org/ptodirectory. The deadline for
entering information is Saturday, September 20. If you do not complete the
online form, your family will not be in the directory. This must be done each
year. The directory will be posted online in ProgressBook, a secure,
password-protected location. Parents using the online form will have the
opportunity to request a paper copy of the directory, which is distributed in
the fall.
Did You Know High School Parents Have a Web Page?
The High School PTO web page is a great resource for parents. Check it out

Raider Rainbow Run on Friday, September 19
The Raider Rainbow Run is a 5k fun run through the Shaker Middle School
neighborhood. This event is both a friendraiser and a fundraiser! Registered
runners will be given a white t-shirt and will make their way on a course with
7 color stations. Volunteers from our elementary schools will spray the
runners with various colors as they pass each station. We will have festivities
at the end of the race, a dj and food trucks, so you and your family can
hang around and socialize.
Everyone is welcome to participate; the registration fee is $25. There are
fundraising prizes for Middle School students and fundraising incentives for
everyone. Teachers and staff - school district employees can participate for
free (but we hope you will fundraise, too!) Register by September 10 to
guarantee a T-shirt.
