Michelangelo provides the perfect meeting point between the city and south eastern
suburbs of Melbourne.
Renowned for authentic handmade Italian cuisine and exceptional customer service,
Michelangelo boasts a variety of highly versatile private and semi-private function
spaces to suit any occasion or budget.
With ample parking available on site and modern audio visual equipment, our highly
experienced function and events team will be there to cover all your technological
requirements, provide exceptional support and management and ensure you and
your guests only receive the highest quality service every step of the way.
FUNCTION
SPACES
Catering to every occasion, Michelangelo’s flexible floor plan can accommodate any private or corporate function or event. With private and semi-private space
available, Michelangelo also offers exclusive restaurant hire plus a range of food and beverage packages accommodating up to 350 guests.
FUNCTION ROOM
Catering for up to 100 guests, our private function room offers the ideal space
for your next meeting, conference, product launch or private celebration.
ALFRESCO DINING
Situated within its own glass setting, our modern alfresco dining area offers the perfect outdoor
escape for your next function or event. With the capacity to cater for up to 120 guests,
exclusive hire is available with a range of dining and cocktail packages. Please contact our
functions and events team for more information.
CORPORATE
PACKAGES
Providing the perfect setting for conferences, presentations and meetings, our private function
room offers a highly flexible floor plan and choice of seating arrangements. The room is equipped
with data access ports, broadband internet connectivity, wireless capabilities, separate sound
system, 42” plasma screen and CD/DVD player, all of which are available at no additional cost to
the hirer. Should you require additional audio visual equipment you are welcome to coordinate
your own or we may arrange for hire and set up on your behalf.
For your convenience, equipment and services such as photocopying and whiteboards or flipcharts
may also be arranged for your event. Corporate packages are individually created to suit your
specific requirements and may incorporate breakfast, lunch and/or dinner packages, sweet and
savoury morning and/or afternoon tea selections and beverage packages. Designated break out
areas with tea and coffee stations are incorporated into the price of your package and guests
have the additional option to purchase food and beverages from our extensive restaurant menu.
Packages are available providing exclusive use of this area at no charge. Contact our functions
and events team to discuss the right package for your next event.

the freshest produce and highest quality ingredients.
A variety of innovative and flexible cocktail, buffet and sit-down style
packages are available to suit any size function and can be tailored to
your event and preferences. Alternative options may also be provided

BEVERAGE
PACKAGES
Michelangelo offers a range of per head, on consumption and cash bar beverage
packages that can be customised to suit your requirements. Packages may be arranged
incorporating wine, spirits, beer, soft drink, mineral water, tea and coffee.
Should any of your guests wish to consume beverages not selected in your package,
these will be available to purchase at regular bar prices.

ENTRY COCKTAILS
A selection of cocktails are available and may be served to your guests upon arrival or during your event. All pre-ordered cocktails will receive
a 20% discount (*minimum orders apply), making it a fantastic and inexpensive way to greet your guests or toast to your special celebration.
Sparkling, red and white wine, beer and mocktails may also be arranged. Please speak with our functions and events team for more information.
FUNCTION ACCESSORIES & THEMED EVENTS
Linen tablecloths, chair covers, napkins and candelabras are also available for hire for your next event
and to further enhance your event, themed nights (e.g. Casino Royale) can also be arranged. Blackjack
and Roulette Tables, complete with Croupiers, playing chips and novelty cash may be organised and, for
those finishing touches, Showgirls, James Bond characters and magicians are also available.

MICHELANGELO’S
TERMS & CONDITIONS
• Tentative bookings are held for a period of seven (7) days only. Once this time period has lapsed your tentative booking may be cancelled.
• Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of the agreed deposit, a completed signed booking agreement and a signed copy of these terms and conditions.
• The agreed deposit for your booking is non-refundable.
• In the event you cancel your booking within seven (7) days of the function date, the deposit will be retained by Michelangelo and you will be held liable for 50%
of the costs of the booked catering.
• Should you wish to postpone the date of your function, your initial deposit may be applied to the rescheduled function booking provided notice is received no
later than one month prior to your initial function date.
• Preliminary payment of 50% of the total cost of your function is to be paid seven (7) days prior to your function date and the balance settled no less than two (2)
days prior to the date of your function.
• Function quotes provided are based on the estimated number of guests given at the time of enquiry. Should numbers or requirements change, quotes will be
revised accordingly.
• Guests 12 years old and under will be charged at children’s prices.
• Catering and final numbers of attendees must be confirmed no less than seven (7) working days prior to your function. If we are not advised of your catering
changes or numbers, the information provided on your booking form will be considered confirmed and will be charged as a minimum. Michelangelo reserves the
right to levy additional charges should the number of guests exceed the final number provided by you.
• The commencement and conclusion of your function will be at the agreed upon scheduled times unless otherwise approved by management of Michelangelo.
• Prices listed in Michelangelo’s Function Information Package are correct at the time of printing and are subject to change. All prices listed are inclusive of GST.
• Management of Michelangelo reserve the right to eject from or refuse entry to any person deemed in reasonable opinion to be intoxicated, causing disturbance
or behaving inappropriately.
• No food or drink is permitted onto the premises unless previously authorised by management of Michelangelo. Birthday cakes are permitted.
• Decorations and arrangements must be discussed and approved by venue management prior to your event. No items may be fixed to walls, ceilings, floors or
pillars of any room by nails, screws, drawing pins, tape or other means unless prior approval has been confirmed by Management. Stand alone photo boards are
acceptable.
• Michelangelo accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage or injury to your property, the property of your guests or any other persons for whom you are
responsible for prior to, during or after your function.
• A conditional refundable bond may be required to indemnify the venue for any damage that may occur to hired function space. The hirer will be held financially
liable for any damages which occur as a result of their function excluding expected general wear and tear. The cost of any damages identified by management
shall be settled by the hirer prior to the conclusion of their function unless an alternative arrangement is organised by management of Michelangelo.
