The Ward Module has been developed for registered nurses providing
emergency care to trauma patients across the lifespan, in metropolitan
and rural ward environments. This module aims to build upon your
theoretical knowledge and practice in Trauma Ward Nursing, to develop your
assessment and management in the area of common trauma conditions and
related clinical skills.
Building upon nurses existing knowledge and skills, the program is designed
primarily to equip nurses who are required to manage trauma patients over
the period of their hospitalisation and to develop a greater understanding of
pathophysiology, assessment and management of trauma patients.
All workshops are facilitated by experienced clinicians from around Australia,
who use interactive teaching and case based discussion to deliver theory
and practical sessions.
Morning Tea and Lunch will be provided.
