Reserve Bank of India imposed a fine of Rs.1.5 crores each on Dena Bank, Bank of
Maharastra and Oreintal Bank of Commerce. It also warned eight other public sector
banks following its investigation into last year's fixed deposit fraud.
For investment and trade promotion, India and Japan signed an action plan. The action
