EOL SYNTHESIS MEETING VISUALIZING THE TREE OF LIFE Developing a Graphic Evolutionary Interface for the EOL December 4, 2007 Adobe Systems, San Francisco Biodiversity Synthesis Group Encyclopedia of Life This meeting signified the first step in collaborative efforts between a team of Adobe Systems software engineers, the EOL and Tree-thinking Evolutionary Biologists. The goal was to develop an intuitive, user-friendly interface to the tree of life and EOL species pages. Participants came from Adobe Corporation, the Field Museum of Natural History, University of Arizona, University of California, Berkeley, Yale University, Marine Biological Laboratory Woods Hole, and the TED Conferences.
