Inspired by a glorious tradition The Queen of Sheba, famous for presenting King Solomon with a caravan of precious stones and spices in Holy Jerusalem, is thought to have come from Saba, a powerful incense-trading kingdom located in present-day Yemen. In about 450 BC Herodotus wrote, “This is the one country in the world where frankincense grows, and myrrh, and cassia, and cinnamon and labdanum...the whole country exhales a more than earthly fragrance". Many centuries later, a young entrepreneur from Yemen, Hussain Adam Ali, would carry on the rich tradition of this ancient land, and provide the very best in Arabian fragrance and incense. Message from the Chairman Swiss Arabian Perfume Group’s epic journey began almost 4 decades ago with an ambitious dream to establish the region’s first indigenous world-class perfume house. Adam Ali Director Director Building a legacy In the early seventies, the discovery of petroleum transformed the Gulf countries into booming economies. Foreseeing a prosperous future in the newly-formed federation, United Arab Emirates, Hussain Adam Ali decided to establish the country’s first perfume manufacturing company in collaboration with Swiss perfumery giant, Givaudan Roure, the latter providing technical expertise and know how to the fledgling new Arabian perfume house. Thus, this alliance between an Arab. pioneer and a European perfumery giant gave birth to Swiss Arabian Perfumes Group (SAPG). Nearly forty years on, Hussain Adam Ali’s two sons carry on the responsibility of keeping this Arabian legacy alive, and expanding the company to new horizons. Pioneers to Perfectionists What started as a simple trading house with only three employees, is now a thousand strong company with functional “experts” in every area of perfume making. Using the most advanced machinery with a highly qualified quality assurance staff allows us to maintain an edge. Timeless fragrances One of the most coveted essential oils comes from the Aquilaria tree, also known as the Agarwood tree. This species of trees is found mostly in South East Asia and its oil can fetch a price higher than that of gold. Ood, as it is referred to in the Middle East, has been used for thousands of years, and is highly prized by local Arabs as the ultimate natural perfume. At Swiss Arabian, we stock only the finest oods and dehn el oods (essence of ood) that have been meticulously collected from across South East Asia, and meet our exacting standards. We also carry other exquisite natural perfumes that mesmerise the senses like Amber, Rose, Sandalwood oil, Musk, Saffron and Jasmine, to name a few. Customers can choose to indulge themselves with these fragrances in their pure form, or in blends called Mukhalats, or in incense known as Bakhoors. The first Swiss Arabian branded retail outlets started operations in 1980 at the historic Souk Murshid Dubai, where patrons explored the finest Arabian perfumes in an outdoor souk environment. These outdoor souks served as the primary distribution channel to customers well until the late 1990s. However, with the advent of the modern shopping mall, the Gulf, and Dubai in particular, lead the way to a new revolution in shopping. The huge Hyper markets, with their magnificent food courts, entertainment areas and hundreds of prime retailers from every category of business, were an immediate draw to a rapidly growing and affluent society. .وﺑﻨﻬﺎﻳﺔ ﻟﻤﺎ ﻫﻲ ﻣﺼﺪر ﻓﺨﺮ ﻟﻨﺎ. ﺗﻌﺘﺒﺮ ﺳﻮﻳﺲ ارﺑﻴﺎن ﻫﻲ اﻟﻌﻼﻣﺔ اﻟﺮاﺋﺪة اﻟﻤﺘﺴﺎرع وﺑﺬخ اﻟﻤﺠﺘﻤﻊ. ﻟﻠﻤﺠﻤﻮﻋﺔ وﺗﻮزع ﺟﻮدﺗﻬﺎ اﻟﻤﺘﻤﻴﺰة ﻓﻲ ﻣﺤﻼﺗﻨﺎ اﻟﺨﺎﺻﺔ .ﺑﺪأ اول ﻣﺤﻞ ﺗﺠﺎري ﻟﺴﻮﻳﺲ أرﺑﻴﺎن ﻓﻲ ﺗﻢ ﺗﺸﻴﻴﺪ ﻫﺬه اﻟﻤﺮاﻛﺰ اﻟﺘﺠﺎرﻳﺔ اﻟﻀﺨﻤﺔ ﺑﺴﺮﻋﺔ اﻟﻌﻤﻞ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻌﺎم ١٩٨٠ﻓﻲ ﺳﻮق ﻣﺮﺷﺪ ﺑﺪﺑﻲ ﺣﻴﺚ ﻗﻴﺎﺳﻴﺔ ﻟﺘﻠﺒﻴﺔ اﻟﺮﻏﺒﺔ اﻟﻤﺘﺰاﻳﺪة ﻟﻠﺘﺴﻮق اﻟﺘﻲ اﻛﺘﺸﻒ اﻟﻌﻤﻼء اﻓﻀﻞ اﻟﻌﻄﻮر اﻟﻌﺮﺑﻴﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺑﻴﺌﺔ اﺻﺤﺒﺖ ﻃﺎﺑﻊ ﺷﻬﺮة دﺑﻲ .اﺳﺘﻔﺎدت ﺳﻮﻳﺲ ارﺑﻴﺎن اﻟﺴﻮق اﻟﺨﺎرﺟﻲ. ﻣﻦ ﻫﺬا اﻻﺗﺠﺎه اﻟﺠﺪﻳﺪ اﻟﺬي اﻧﺘﺸﺮ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺨﻠﻴﺞ ﺑﺘﻮﺳﻴﻊ ﺷﻜﻠﺖ اﻻﺳﻮاق اﻟﺨﺎرﺟﻴﺔ ﻗﻨﺎة ﺗﻮزﻳﻊ اﻋﻤﺎﻟﻬﺎ ﻋﺒﺮ رﺋﻴﺴﻴﻴﻦ ﻗﻄﺎﻋﻴﻦ ﻫﻤﺎ: أوﻟﻴﺔ ﻣﻔﻬﻮم اﻻﻛﺸﺎك وﻣﻔﻬﻮم اﻟﻤﻌﺎرض اﻟﻤﺴﺘﻘﻠﺔ. ﻟﻠﻌﻤﻼء ﺣﺘﻰ ﻧﻬﺎﻳﺔ اﻟﻌﺎم .١٩٩٠ﻳﻌﺘﺒﺮ ﻇﻬﻮر ﻣﺮاﻛﺰ ﻳﻼﺋﻢ اﻟﻤﻔﻬﻮم اﻻول اﻟﻤﺴﺘﻬﻠﻜﻴﻦ اﻟﺬي ﻳﺮﻏﺒﻮن اﻟﺘﺴﻮق اﻟﺤﺪﻳﺜﺔ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺨﻠﻴﺞ ودﺑﻲ ﻋﻠﻰ وﺟﻪ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺤﺼﻮل ﻋﻠﻰ ﻋﻄﻮر ﻓﻲ ﺷﻜﻞ ﻓﻌﺎل اﻟﺨﺼﻮص ﺛﻮرة ﻓﻲ ﻋﺎﻟﻢ اﻟﺘﺴﻮق .إن ﻣﺮاﻛﺰ وﻣﻨﺎﺳﺐ .ﻳﺨﺪم ﻣﻔﻬﻮم اﻟﻤﻌﺎرض اﻟﻌﻤﻼء اﻟﺬﻳﻦ اﻟﺘﺴﻮق اﻟﻜﺒﻴﺮة وﻣﺎ ﺗﻀﻤﻪ ﻣﻦ ﻣﻄﺎﻋﻢ راﻗﻴﺔ ﻳﺮﻏﺒﻮن اﻟﻤﻨﺘﺠﺎت وﻣﺮاﻓﻖ ﺗﺮﻓﻴﻪ واﻟﻤﺌﺎت ﻣﻦ اﻟﻤﺤﻼت اﻟﺘﺠﺎرﻳﺔ واﻟﺠﻮدة ﻓﻲ ﺷﻜﻞ ﻓﺨﻢ وﺟﺬاب. ﺑﻜﺎﻓﺔ ﺗﺨﺼﺼﺎت اﻟﺘﺠﺎرة ﺗﺸﻴﺮ ﺑﻮﺿﻮح اﻟﻰ اﻟﻨﻤﻮ ﻓﻲ ﺧﺪﻣﺔ اﺿﺎﻓﻴﺔ، ﺗﻌﺪد WINNER ﺍﻟﻔﺎﺋﺰ ﺍﻟﻌﻄﺮ ﺑﺠﺎﺋﺰﺓ ﺃﻓﻀﻞ ﻋﻄﺮ ﻋﺮﺑﻲ ﻧﺴﺎﺋﻲ ﻟﻌﺎﻡ 2011 ﺗﺴﺘﺨﺮج اﻫﻢ اﻟﺰﻳﻮت اﻟﻌﻄﺮﻳﺔ ﻣﻦ ﺷﺠﺮة اﻛﻮﻳﻼرﻳﺎ ﺳﺒﻴﻞ اﻟﻤﺜﺎل ﻻ اﻟﺤﺼﺮ .ﻳﻤﻜﻦ ﻟﻠﻌﻤﻼء اﻻﺧﺘﻴﺎر ﺑﻴﻦ واﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﻌﺮف اﻳﻀﺎ ﺑﺎﺳﻢ ﺷﺠﺮة اﺟﺎروود أو ﺷﺠﺮة ﻫﺬه اﻟﻌﻄﻮر ﻓﻲ اﺷﻜﺎﻟﻬﺎ اﻟﺨﺎﺻﺔ او ﺑﻌﺪ ﻣﺰﺟﻬﺎ اﻟﻌﻮد ﻛﻤﺎ ﺗﻌﺮف ﻫﻨﺎ .ﺗﻮﺟﺪ ﻫﺬه اﻟﺸﺠﺮة ﻓﻲ ﻓﻴﻤﺎ ﻳﻌﺮف ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺨﻠﻂ او ﻓﻲ ﺷﻜﻞ ﺑﺨﻮر. ﺟﻨﻮب ﺷﺮق آﺳﻴﺎ وﻳﺘﺠﺎوز ﺳﻌﺮﻫﺎ ﺳﻌﺮ ﻋﻮد اﻟﺬﻫﺐ وﻳﺮﺟﻊ ذﻟﻚ ﻻﺳﺘﺨﺪاﻣﻪ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺸﺮق ﻟﻌﺪة وﻣﻊ ﻣﺎ ﺗﺘﻤﻴﺰ ﺑﻪ اﻟﻌﻄﻮر ﻣﻦ ﺳﺮﻋﺔ ﻓﻲ دﺧﻮل آﻻف ﻣﻦ اﻟﺴﻨﻴﻦ وﻳﻌﺘﺒﺮه اﻟﻌﺮب ﻣﻦ اﻓﻀﻞ اﻟﻌﻄﻮر ﻣﺨﺘﻠﻒ اﻟﻤﺨﻠﻮﻃﺔ اﻟﻄﺒﻴﻌﻴﺔ .ﻧﺤﻦ ﻓﻲ ﺳﻮﻳﺲ أرﺑﻴﺎن ﺣﺮﻳﺼﻴﻦ ﻋﻠﻰ واﻟﻌﻄﻮر اﻟﻐﺮﺑﻴﺔ ﺑﺪأت ﻓﻲ ﺗﺤﺪﻳﺪ اذواق ﺟﺪﻳﺪة اﺳﺘﺨﺪام اﻓﻀﻞ واﺟﻮد اﻧﻮاع اﻟﻌﻮد ودﻫﻦ اﻟﻌﻮد ﻟﻠﻤﺴﺘﻬﻠﻚ . اﻻﺳﻮاق ﻓﺎن اﻟﻤﻨﺘﺠﺎت اﻟﺬي ﻳﺘﻢ ﺗﺠﻤﻴﻌﻪ ﻣﻦ ﺟﻤﻴﻊ اﻧﺤﺎء ﺟﻨﻮب ﺷﺮق آﺳﻴﺎ ﺣﺘﻰ ﻧﺴﺘﻮﻓﻲ ﻣﻌﺎﻳﻴﺮﻧﺎ. ﻗﺎﺋﺪة ﻫﺬا اﻻﺗﺠﺎه اﻟﺠﺪﻳﺪ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺘﻨﻮع اﻟﺜﻘﺎﻓﻲ واﺳﺘﻤﺮت ﺳﻮﻳﺲ ارﺑﻴﺎن ﻓﻲ اﺑﺘﻜﺎر اﻛﺜﺮ اﻟﻌﻄﻮر ﻛﺬﻟﻚ ﻧﻨﺘﺞ ﻋﺪد ﻣﻦ اﻟﻌﻄﻮر اﻟﻄﺒﻴﻌﻴﺔ اﻟﺮاﺋﻌﺔ اﻧﺘﺸﺎرا ﻣﺜﻞ ﻛﺨﺸﺔ ،ﻣﺨﻠﻂ ،ﻣﻠﻜﻲ ،ﻓﺪﻳﺘﻚ ،راﻛﺎن واﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﺴﺤﺮ اﻻﺣﺎﺳﻴﺲ ﻣﺜﻞ اﻟﻌﻨﺒﺮ ،اﻟﻮرد ،زﻳﺖ واﻟﺘﻲ ﻣﻠﻜﺖ ﻗﻠﻮب اﻟﻜﺜﻴﺮ ﻣﻦ ﻋﺸﺎق اﻟﻌﻄﻮر ﻓﻲ ﻋﻮد اﻟﺼﻨﺪل ،اﻟﻤﺴﻚ ،اﻟﺰﻋﻔﺮان واﻟﻴﺎﺳﻤﻴﻦ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻧﺤﺎء اﻟﻌﺎﻟﻢ. أﺻﺒﺤﺖ ﻣﺠﻤﻮﻋﺔ ﺳﻮﻳﺲ أرﺑﻴﺎن ﻟﻠﻌﻄﻮر اﻟﻴﻮم راﺋﺪة ﺑﻴﻦ ﺑﻴﻮت اﻟﻌﻄﻮر وﻗﺪﻣﺖ ﻣﻦ ٨٠ دوﻟﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺟﻤﻴﻊ اﻧﺤﺎء اﻟﻌﺎﻟﻢ. اﻟﻌﺪﻳﺪ ﻣﻦ وﻣﻊ أن ﻛﻞ ﻋﻼﻣﺔ ﺗﺠﺎرﻳﺔ ﺗﺨﺪم ﻗﻄﺎع ﻣﺘﻔﺮد ﻣﻦ اﻟﻌﻼﻣﺎت اﻟﺘﺠﺎرﻳﺔ اﻟﻤﺮﻣﻮﻗﺔ ﻣﺜﻞ »ﺷﻴﺮﻟﻲ ﻣﺎي، اﻟﻌﻤﻼء
