The e-Learning Programme will provide the following benefits:

The programme is designed for you as a student studying predominantly on your own. It is structured in such a way as to promote
self-managed learning. The course incorporates activities throughout to help consolidate your learning and give you the opportunity
to relate your knowledge to a practical, workplace situation.

Throughout the entire period of study all students have access to tutors, to discuss technical points or receive advice on best study
practices. One-to-one advice puts you in control to ask the questions you need answered privately. You choose whether you wish to
write to your tutor or direct contact by e-mail.

Your tutor may be a practising professional, or an academic, but you can be sure that you are talking to a specialist in their field. In
addition, all tutors are fully conversant with the style of examinations, and the expectations and standards of the examiners.

Your course material also includes homework questions which are marked by your personal tutor. As well as giving you an
opportunity to test your understanding of the course material against time constraints, your tutor will also provide useful feedback
on the style and content of your answers. You will also receive Suggested Answers to give you an idea of how the question could
have been answered.

You will be provided with Mock Exams which will be marked by your tutor.

You will have access to the Griffith College Intranet Site (known as Moodle – www.moodle.gcd.ie). Information regarding
assignments and solutions will be posted on this web site. You will also be able to contact your tutor and other students through
Moodle.

Please note that the video recordings of the ACCA Papers are recorded over a number of ACCA terms and the individual lecturer’s
material content referred to therein may not always be the same as the current term. We will endeavour to liaise with your tutor on
these occasions to provide this material where relevant.

All revision courses are held in Griffith College Dublin (see our website www.griffith.ie/acca for revision course timetable).

e-Learning materials will be posted to registered students during w/c 15 & 22
before that date in order to allow the maximum amount of time for your studies.
