Sequoia Productions is a Los Angeles based event Production Company founded by President,
Cheryl Cecchetto, who set out to develop a visionary company that would perform more than just
event servicing. Now 20 years later our vision has been fulfilled. Cecchetto and her company dream
team have produced, managed and directed some of the most prestigious and original productions
in the event world.
We attend to each element of the production with a keen eye for balance and taste, whether
choosing a subtle color shading for the décor or deciding the particulars of a dessert item. Every
detail is important and every option is treated as if it were a once in a lifetime opportunity.
The talents of the Sequoia staff represent over one hundred years of combined experience and
expertise in the event planning industry. This professionalism, combined with our meticulous
dedication to innovation and quality, has made us one of the most sought after companies in the
business.

Cecchetto believes that her company’s success stems from old-fashioned values, hard work, risk, and
maintaining great communication with the client. “I work from the foundation of relationship with all
my clients. It’s our job to assist them in realizing their vision and nothing is more satisfying than
seeing that vision become a reality,” she comments. Cecchetto and her staff attend to each element
of the production with an eye for balance. “Everything is important,” says Cecchetto. “Every option is
treated as if it were a once–in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
Cheryl is a multi-tasker who balances her work life with her home life to keep her motivated,
energized and supremely creative. She believes that the love and support of her husband and two
young children have helped propel her and her company to where it is today, an innovative leader in
the field of event production.

Vice President
Gary Levitt joined the company in 2001 and has produced dozens of large-scale corporate and

as the standard for excellence amidst a sometimes overflowing pool of “event producers.”
Among the successful events he has orchestrated were the 100th Anniversary of Cedars-Sinai
Hospital, the Opening Gala for the Griffith Observatory, G’Day USA on behalf of Australian
Consulate, the Premier of “The Producers”
motion picture, Entertainment Weekly’s Annual Pre-Emmy Party (which he has overseen production
since its inception) and several other high profile events. In addition, Gary regularly oversees
corporate clients such as The Westfield Corporation as well as private events including lavish
weddings and bar mitzvahs.
