Nashville’s newest musical vixen Laura McCormick brings a
fierce set of pipes with her debut album Box Full of Trouble.
Her voice is often compared to Bonnie Raitt, Ann Wilson and
Linda Rondstadt but it is distinctly original and compelling to
the ear. The eight track collection is co-written by McCormick
and Frank Schofield, who also co-produced the album. Laura mixes power vocals with fearless songwriting,
blending her folk and country roots with her classic rock upbringing.

Laura McCormick’s first album shows her range vocally and emotionally as well. “I grew up loving Country

Bryan Hayes
Still Just A Man…Ten Years Later
Album
As an independent songwriter and traveling musician, ten years is a
big milestone and to mark the occasion, Bryan Hayes has re-recorded
his debut album as a way to say thanks to the folks who have been with them for the long haul. Hayes
looked toward songwriters like Guy Clark and John Prine for insight and inspiration when entering the studio
for Still Just A Man..10 Years Later. He released Just A Man, in October 2004 and these new
interpretations bring his life experiences to the songs, creating a depth of emotion and world view gained in
the last ten years of singing, writing and living.
The lead track, Soundtrack, is the first songs Hayes ever wrote, his ode to music that moves us, inspires us
and encourages us daily. The collection is Country, Folk and a little soft Rock, with skillful vocal delivery by
the artist. Leave My Heart(Before You Go) is a standout Country selection. Just A Man, a soulful and
haunting melody with beautiful instrumentation.
Seven of the eight tunes were written by Hayes. He has included one cover song here, You Ain’t Goin’
Nowhere by the legendary Bob Dylan.
As a songwriter, Hayes is very gifted at painting a picture with clever lyrics.
Born in Brownsville, Tennessee with a passion for music, he quickly found his way to the music scene in
Memphis. Hayes and his band The Retrievers, have enjoyed growing regional success both in live shows
and internet play since 2006. Bryan most recently finished recording his fourth studio album, a collection
engineered and produced by Nashville-based Grammy winner, Andy Hunt.

Songs That Make Me Think About You
Album
Bill Wence caught the music fever as a young kid in Salinas, California
and enjoys it with great passion to this day. He met Jerry Lee Lewis
and Gene Vincent when Wence was fifteen years old. When just a
high school Junior, he began touring as Country Music legend Bobby
Bare’s pianist. He got his own band together and played from LA to Alaska in the 60’s and moved to
Nashville in the 70’s. He wrote charting hit songs for the next two decades, toured with Tom T Hall and
others, took a spin at NPR and was one of 30 Founding Members of the Americana Music Association.
Today, this tremendous talent is still touring with Bobby Bare and Wanda Jackson and found time to write
some original songs which he included here on this great collection of tunes, Songs That Make Me Think
About You. The lead track is so fun, a traveling lover who is a bit overzealous about contacting his lady.
Entitled 555-2109, the melody is catchy and the chorus begging to be sung. Written by Mike Dekle and
Bryon Hill. Wonderful harmonica on this one. Thank You Girl is the first original in the line up, uptempo
and heart felt lyrics, well sung and well penned by Wence and Dan Willis. The title track shows up at
number five, a nice little surprise edge and performed with just the right passion. Nathan Adam Johnson
wrote Songs That Make Me Think About You in 2007. Great vocal arrangements do justice to a haunting
selection, Rearview Mirror by Phil Christie.
Produced by Bill Wence and Joe Funderburk, recorded at Creative Workshop in Berry Hill, Tennessee.
