UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORTING YOUR CHILD WITH ADHD
Monday 5 January 2015, 3.30 pm – 5.45 pm
Northumberland CofE Academy, Ashington, NE63 9FZ
This informal learning session for parents is a rare opportunity for parents of children and young
people with ADHD to come together to learn a bit more about the disorder, share experiences,
and ask questions. There will be no teachers present. The session will be led by trainers living
with ADHD.
If you have time before you come to the learning session, please watch this BBC Documentary
about ADHD (45 minutes). It gives a very good idea of what it’s like to live with ADHD from the
point of others. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lrcxmOolB8
