Make sure you understand what examiners want you to do when they give you these instructions. Account for: explain the reason for something. Comment on: give your opinion on something (your opinion must be based on the text). Explain: say what something means. Give your opinion: say what you think. For these questions there is no single right answer, but you must support your ideas with events or dialogue from the play. You will not get any marks for saying that you agree or disagree with something; you will get marks for supporting your opinions with quotes or facts. Place this extract in context: say what happens just before, and sometimes just after, this extract in the play (in other words, you should not say anything about what happens in the extract). This shows that you know the story. Substantiate: give reasons from the play to show that what you say is true. Give a synonym: give a word with the same meaning.
