(Note: While CLC’s MTH 141 may be taken to complete the AA/AS degree, additional math courses at CC-MO will likely be required in order to meet course prerequisites. Columbia College follows an Open Admissions PolicyTransfer students must provide evidence of 6 credit hours of college work with grades of “C” or better. TRANSFER CREDITS Up to 96 hours are accepted from all sources (community colleges, baccalaureate-granting colleges/universities, military, CLEP, Partners in Criminal Justice and credit for life experience). However, general education, upper level credit hours and core courses may be needed for degree completion. 30 credit hours in residency must be completed with Columbia College. 39 credit hours out of the 120 total credits required to graduate must be earned at the junior/senior level. Only courses with a grade of “C” or higher are transferable to Columbia College – Missouri. Early application is encouraged. Students may transfer to Columbia College at any time of the year and with at least 6 earned credit hours completed. Students should arrange to meet with an Academic Advisor of Columbia College as early as possible to plan the transfer. This can also be met by 4 years of a language in high school w/grades of “C” or better, or by taking two Culture and Society courses at Columbia College.
