Prayer and Meditation including:
Above All
Above all powers, above all kings,
Above all nature, and all created things;
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man,
You were here before the world began.
Above all kingdoms, above all thrones,
Above all wonders the world has ever known;
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth,
There's no way to measure what You're worth.
Crucified, laid behind the stone,
You lived to die, rejected and alone.
Like a rose trampled on the ground,
You took the fall and thought of me,
Above all.
At the Cross
Oh Lord You've searched me, You know my way.
Even when I fail You, I know You love me.
Your holy presence, surrounding me,
In every season, I know You love me. (x2)
At the cross I bow my knee,
Where Your blood was shed for me.
There's no greater love than this.
You have overcome the grave.
Your Glory fills the highest place;
What can separate me now?
You go before me, You shield my way.
Your hand upholds me, I know You love me.
You tore the veil, You made a way,
When You said that it is done. (x2)
And when the earth fades, falls from my eyes ,
And You stand before me,
I know You love me (x2).

Mighty To Save
Everyone needs compassion, love that's never failing;
Let mercy fall on me. Everyone needs forgiveness,
The kindness of a Saviour; the Hope of nations.
Saviour, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save, He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave!
Jesus conquered the grave!
So take me as You find me, all my fears and failures.
Fill my life again. I give my life to follow.
Everything I believe in, now I surrender.
RESURRECTION DAY 2015
THE GARDEN TOMB IN JERUSALEM
Shine your light and let the whole world see,
We're singing for the glory of the risen King...Jesus! (x2)
My Saviour, you can move the mountains,
You are mighty to save, You are mighty to save.
Forever, Author of Salvation,
You rose and conquered the grave,
Yes you conquered the grave.
Final Notices
Dismissal prayer
Thine be the Glory
Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son;
Endless is the victory, Thou o’er death has won;
Angels in bright raiment rolled the stone away,
Kept the folded grave clothes where Thy body lay.
Thine be the glory, risen conquering Son,
Endless is the victory Thou o’er death has won.
Lo! Jesus meets us, risen from the tomb;
Lovingly He greets us, scatters fear and gloom;
Let the church with gladness, hymns of triumph sing;
For her Lord now liveth, death has lost its sting.
No more we doubt Thee, glorious Prince of Life;
Life is naught without Thee; aid us in our strife;
Make us more than conquerors, through Thy deathless love:
Bring us safe through Jordan to Thy home above.
The Garden Tomb is a UK Charity and relies on
donations. We charge no-one to come in, welcoming people of all faiths. About 250,000 each year

He Has Risen
He has risen, He has risen,
He has risen, He has risen,
Jesus is alive!
When the life flowed from His body,
Seemed like Jesus' mission failed;
But His sacrifice accomplished,
Vict'ry over sin and hell!
In the grave God did not leave Him,
For His body to decay.
Raised to life - the Great Awakening,
Satan's pow'r He overcame!
If there were no resurrection,
We ourselves could not be raised;
But the Son of God is living,
So our hope is not in vain!
When the Lord rides out of heaven,
Mighty angels at His side,
They will sound the final trumpet.
From the grave we shall arise!
He has given life immortal.
We shall see Him face to face.
Through eternity we'll praise Him,
Christ the champion of our faith!
Glorious
Look inside the mystery; see the empty cross.
See the risen Saviour, victorious and strong.
No one else above Him, none as strong to save.
He alone has conquered the power of the grave.
Glorious, my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord.
Glorious, He stands above the rulers of the earth.
Look beyond the tombstone; see the living God.
See the resurrected Ruler of my heart.
No one else above Him, none to match His worth.
The hope of His returning fills the universe.
Glorious, glorious. Lord, You are glorious.
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh You are glorious.
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh You are glorious.
Hallelujah Jesus is Alive
Hallelujah!
Jesus is alive!
Death has lost it's victory,
And the grave has been denied.
Jesus lives forever!
He's alive! He's alive!
He’s the Alpha and Omega.
The first and last is He.
The curse of sin is broken,
And we have perfect liberty.
The lamb of God is risen!
He's alive! He's alive!
Jesus is alive!
Welcome and Introductions
The Lord is Risen!
He is Risen indeed – Hallelujah!
See, What a Morning
See, what a morning, gloriously bright,
With the dawning of hope in Jerusalem.
Folded the grave clothes, tomb filled with light,
As the angels announce Christ is risen!
See God's salvation plan, wrought in love,
Born in pain, paid in sacrifice,
Fulfilled in Christ, the Man,
For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!
See Mary weeping, "Where is He laid?”
As in sorrow she turns from the empty tomb;
Hears a voice speaking, calling her name;
It's the Master, the Lord raised to life again!
The voice that spans the years,
Speaking life, stirring hope, bringing peace to us,
Will sound till He appears,
For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!
One with the Father, Ancient of Days,
Through the Spirit who clothes faith with certainty.
Honour and blessing, glory and praise,
To the King crowned with power and authority!
And we are raised with Him!
Death is dead! Love has won! Christ has conquered!
And we shall reign with Him,
For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!
You Laid Aside Your Majesty
You laid aside your majesty,
Gave up everything for me;
Suffered at the hands of those You had created,
You took all my guilt and shame.
When You died and rose again,
Now today You reign,
In heaven and earth exalted!
I really want to worship You my Lord.
You have won my heart,
And I am Yours for ever and ever,
I will love You.
You are the only one who died for me,
Gave Your life to set me free.
So I lift my voice to You in adoration.
Reading 1:
John 20: 1 - 18
In Christ Alone my Hope is Found
In Christ alone my hope is found,
He is my light, my strength, my song;
This Cornerstone, this solid ground,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
My Comforter, my All in All,
Here in the love of Christ I stand.
In Christ alone, Who took on flesh,
Fullness of God in helpless babe!
This gift of love and righteousness,
Scorned by the ones He came to save;
Till on that cross as Jesus died,
The wrath of God was satisfied –
For every sin on Him was laid;
Here in the death of Christ I live.
There in the ground His body lay,
Light of the world by darkness slain.
Then bursting forth in glorious Day,
Up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory,
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me;
For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ.
No guilt in life, no fear in death,
This is the power of Christ in me;
From life's first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.
No power of hell, no scheme of man,
Can ever pluck me from His hand;
Till He returns or calls me home,
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand.

Ten Thousand Reasons to Bless the Lord
Bless the Lord oh my soul, Oh my soul,
Worship His Holy name.
Sing like never before, Oh my soul.
I'll worship Your Holy name.
The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning.
It's time to sing Your song again.
Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me,
Let me be singing when the evening comes
You're rich in love, and You're slow to anger.
Your name is great, and Your heart is kind.
For all Your goodness, I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find.
And on that day when my strength is failing,
The end draws near and my time has come.
Still my soul will sing Your praise unending,
Ten thousand years and then forevermore.
Bless the Lord oh my soul, Oh my soul,
Worship His Holy name.
Sing like never before, Oh my soul.
I'll worship Your Holy name.
Jesus, I'll worship Your Holy name.
I'll worship Your Holy name.
