March 2011
What’s New in March?
Lunch and Learn
Easy Networking!
Jamie Gorman of Sigma
College of Small Business will
present “Networking for NonNetworkers” here at the Chamber
office on Wednesday, March 23
from noon to 1:00 in the conference
room. RSVP’s appreciated. Please
note, lunch and beverages are not
provided, although we encourage
you to bring your own!
A sign-up sheet or computer
spreadsheet will now be available at
Luncheons and After 5’s. Submit your
email address, and we will send along
a pdf copy of all the business cards
collected at that event. Keeping track of
the people you meet at Chamber events
just got easier! This service provided to
you by Networking Sponsor Scheulen,
Patchett & Edwards, PC.
Want to host an After 5?
Currently the March, June, August, and September After 5’s are available. Sponsor
fees are no longer charged to host an After 5. Cost of holding an After 5 will include
providing a location, adult beverages, and light fare for 75-100 individuals. Why not
share an After 5 sponsorship with a business of like mind, a partner who can share the
expense yet benefit just as much from the value of the event’s publicity? For more
information or for available dates, please call 540-347-4414.
2011 Home & Business Expo
The 2011 Home & Business Expo will be scheduled for late summer, early

push the date forward a few months. The new date will be announced within a
few months.
