Origami House Project
Assignment: Create two stanzas in the same style as “The Abandoned Farmhouse” by Ted Kooser. The first
stanza should be about the student and how the objects in the student’s room tell a story about who they are.
The second stanza should be about the student’s family. Each stanza has 8 lines. Below is an example of how
to mimic the first stanza in the poem “The Abandoned Farmhouse.” Change the appropriate words but
continue to use the same sentence structures as the original poem.
