Dear Turner Fenton Parents, Students and Staff,
It is with mixed emotions I inform you that at the Meeting of the Board last night, Mr. Rozario was
transferred into the position of School Support Officer as of October 15th, 2013. Mr. Rozario is an
outstanding Principal and Turner Fenton has benefitted from his experience, knowledge and tremendous
skill as an education leader. While his absence will be felt by the Turner Fenton community, all of those
attributes will be very welcome in his new position. Mr. Rozario will be providing support to all of the
schools in our System while being liaison with community partners throughout the Peel Region.
Turner Fenton is a very special school so I am pleased to also announce that Mrs. Stubbings, the current
Principal of Meadowvale Secondary School, will be assuming the Principalship at Turner Fenton as of
October 15th. Mrs. Stubbing has just opened an International Business and Technology program at
Meadowvale and she is well aware of the demands of a regional program. She has also been Principal
for Summer School, and she is well respected amongst her Secondary colleagues. I know you will join
me in welcoming her to the Turner Fenton community.
Change is always difficult for a school but we are fortunate to be swapping one very talented Principal
for another. On your behalf I want to thank Mr. Rozario for his dedication and contributions to Turner
Fenton and wish him well in his new assignment.
