Where is the nearest biking or walking trail?
There is a public walkway located on the southeast side of the building, closest to the Charles
River.
Because of our urban location, the most convenient run is around the neighborhood and the
Charles River! Exit left out of the entrance of our community on to Third Street, go left on Canal
Way and head straight to the canal. Keep on the walkway and head straight to the river. You can
go left or right for a beautiful run or walk along the Charles!

Watermark offers the following amenities for you to enjoy:
Clubroom open from 7:00 AM until 12:00AM. Daily.
Conference Room open from 7:00 AM until 12:00AM Daily.
“Sky Deck” open from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM
“The Green” open from 9:00AM until 10:00PM Daily, Memorial Day until Labor Day

How do I reserve the club room?
The Clubroom is available to rent for your personal parties and celebrations. It is available Mon –
Sun, 7:00 am – 12:00 am. Each event can be for a maximum of 50 people, for 6 hours at a time
and can be reserved for $50 hourly fee and $350 deposit. To reserve the room, contact the
leasing office and the team will provide you with the reservation contract and complete details.
 Where do I dispose of my trash?
Watermark has trash rooms located on every floor for all household refuse. Please turn left when
you get off the elevator and the trash rooms will be on your left side. The trash chute is open from
8:00AM -10:00PM daily. Please dispose of your household garbage via the chute.
Recycling is located in every trash room and is all in one recycling. Please refer to your Green
Living Guide for further information on Watermark’s recycling program.

Where are the recycling centers?
We pride ourselves on green initiatives to care for the environment. Watermark has recycling
areas located on each floor for disposal of newspapers, plastics and glass. Thank you for helping
us take care of the earth.

 What do I do with my move in boxes?
It is helpful to everyone in the community if everyone breaks down all boxes and disposes of them
in the dumpsters located on the first floor in the loading dock area. We do ask that you do not
use the trash chutes for boxes, as they can block the chute and create undesirable overflow.
Please also do not leave your boxes in the trash rooms.
 How does my fob/remote work?
When entering the building through the front or parking garage door, waive the fob to enter or
exit.
 Where are the mail boxes located?
The mail boxes for your apartment home are located on the first floor next to the concierge desk.

Do you have resident activities or events?
Watermark has many fun events and activities that promote a sense of community and allow
opportunity for you to meet other residents. Keep up to date on all of our community gatherings
on Building Link, notices in the elevators, and through eblasts. You can expect to see events such
as: Breakfasts, Barbecues, Movie Nights, and much more!
 Where is the best place for me to park?
Parking is available for an hourly, daily, or monthly rate in the Kendall Square garage located
under the building. As a reminder, handicap parking is patrolled by local law enforcement and is
subject to maximum parking violation penalty.

 How do I pay rent online?
We have made paying your rent easy by setting you up with your personal on line account to the
Gables Gateway. You will go to gables.com and click on the Resident Login key in the upper right
hand corner. Select the link to set up your Gables Gateway account. This is a great way to stay
connected to your management team from anywhere in the world. Additional services available
on Gables Gateway include placing a service request for repairs needed in your apartment home.
 How do I use Gables Connect?
Changing your utilities to your new address can be time consuming and a challenge, so
Visit www.gablesconnect.com or call 1-866-914-0631 to transfer or set up your utilities with ease.
At Gables Happy Place, you can establish your new utility service for electric, phone, cable and
secure renter’s insurance.
 How do I reserve the freight elevator?
You can contact the concierge at 617-577-0104or leasing office at (617) 577-0777 and our team
will walk you through the reservation process. The freight elevator is available Friday –
Wednesday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm for moving. There is limited elevator time allocated for moving
and a reservation is necessary to ensure that each resident has ample time to move.
 How do I get a hold of the concierge? What can he/she help me with?
For help with all the community has to offer and local conveniences, you may reach our concierge
at (617) 577-0104. The concierge can offer assistance with things like: restaurant reservations,
movie ticket purchases, event planning, dog walking, grocery delivery, and much more!
 Where can I access WI-FI in the building?
The business center, leasing office, club lounge, and living room are WI-FI accessible for your use
and convenience. This amenity is complimentary and part of your community benefits. The
password to use the WI-FI is 350Third.
 Where is the rent drop box?
When you need to pay your rent after office hours, you may drop it in the rent box located next to
the concierge desk center near the leasing office.
 Do you have a courtesy officer onsite and how do I get a hold of them?
We have 24 hour concierge service onsite. You may contact them by calling 617-577-0104.
A team member will contact them for you. The courtesy office can assist with after-hours noise
complaints. Should you ever witness any suspicious or criminal activity, you should always call
911 for local law enforcement support.

Guests
 Where can my guests park?
Parking is available with a daily and overnight rate in the Kendall Garage below the building.
 Where do my movers park?
In the interest of safety for proper clearance for other residents and emergency vehicles, your
movers may park on Kendall street directly next to the loading dock.
 Where does the delivery person come in or do I have to meet them?
All deliveries much sign in with the concierge desk. The concierge will call you when you have a
delivery to the property.
 How many guests can I have with me at the amenities?
We love it when you share your community with your friends and family. Two guests are
welcome to join you in all of the amenity areas.
 How do I let friends in the front door?
Your guests will contact you via the call box at the gate. You will receive a call on the phone line
that you provide upon move-in when your guest dials you from the gate phone pad. If the caller
is someone you wish to permit entry, press “9” on your phone’s keypad and the gate will open.

Maintenance
 How do I submit service requests?
We want placing a service request for work needed in your apartment home easy. You may
contact the leasing office via phone at (617) 577-0777, via email at watermark@gables.com, in
person, or through Building Link to place your service request.
 What do I do if I have a Maintenance emergency after hours?
For those times that you may have an emergency after office hours, you may contact the
concierge at 617.577.0104 for maintenance assistance. The answering service will dispatch your
service emergency to the on call service technician. You should receive a call from the technician
within the hour.
 What is considered a maintenance emergency?
Emergency maintenance problems that will be dispatched to the on call service technician
include:
1.
No electricity throughout the apartment.
2.
No water.
3.
No air conditioning on a day of extreme heat (80+ degrees).
4.
Water entering the apartment.
5.
Possibility of fire.
6.
Impeded plumbing in an apartment with only one bathroom.
7.
No heat.
8.
Non-functioning or malfunctioning smoke detector.
9.
Gas leak (also call the gas company).
10.
Running water that cannot be shut off.
11.
Malfunctioning door or window locks.

Pets

Do you have a dog park?
Watermark has a friendly dog park for your furry family members to mingle. Our dog park is
located on the southeast side of the building, next to the river.
 Where is the best place to walk my pet?
The green areas around the property are appropriate to walk your pets. Please help us to
maintain a clean and pleasant community by always picking up after your pets. There are many
doggie stations surrounding the community. Specific pet station locations are: at the dog park.


Do you host Yappy Hours?
You are not the only resident that likes to mingle… Your pet has the opportunity to socialize
during our Yappy Hours, held throughout the year in the clubroom. Treat your dog to a night out!
 Do I have to have my dog on a leash?
For the safety of your dog and all residents in the community, all pets are required to be on a
leash when in any common area. It’s the law and the best practice for your pet’s safety.
