CPR/AED HEART SAVER
(For Professionals)
“BLS CPR for Healthcare Providers” is an American
Heart Association (AHA) class. The course will cover
basic CPR for adult, child, infant and two person. It
will address airway management, bag valve use, and
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training. All
participants who successfully complete the written
exam and skills demonstration will receive an
“American Heart Association BLS CPR for Healthcare
Providers” course completion card that is valid
for two years. All participants will receive an AHA
manual available for use at class.

FIRST AID
This training covers injury assessment, bleeding
control, fractures, strains, sprains, burns, care of
shock and other medical illnesses.

BABYSITTER TRAINING
COURSE
This course, taken along with CPR for the
Babysitter, will provide a complete curriculum for
successful babysitting. Learn phone skills, basic
emergency prevention measures, as well as how to
properly care for and entertain children. All course
materials supplied. Please bring a snack and a
doll or stuffed animal to class. Group sessions are
available.

CPR FOR THE BABYSITTER
Pediatric Basic Life Support is a must for all
babysitters. This course, along with the Babysitter
Training Course, will build a strong, responsible
and qualified babysitter. Babysitters will learn CPR
for the adult, child and infant, management of
foreign body airway obstructions, along with injury
prevention and child safety. Participants should
bring a light snack. Group sessions are available.

LIFEGUARD & SAFETY
COURSES
American Red Cross Course – Ages 16+
This six-class course includes Lifeguard Training,
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid
for Public Safety Personnel, Oxygen Administration
certifications. There will be a pre-course skills test on
the first night of class. Course requirements include
attendance/participation, successful completion of
scenarios and final exam. Participants are responsible
for providing their own materials. For next .training

American Red Cross Challenge Courses
If your American Red Cross certifications are expiring,
you can sign up for a challenge course where you will
briefly review the material and take both written and
practical tests to get re-certified without taking the
whole course over again. Participants are responsible
for providing their own materials.

WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR
If you’re at least 16 years old and a proficient
swimmer, you can become an American Red Cross
Water Safety instructor. Learn to teach children and
adults to swim, and give water safety presentations
to kids and their parents. It’s a fun and meaningful job
that’s in high demand. Plus, Red Cross certification is
recognized nationwide so you can work anywhere in
the United States. In order to complete certification,
participants must complete all five classes in the
