Free bus service
Coaches will be available throughout the day, transporting you to
and from teaching buildings at Mount Pleasant, City and
I M Marsh Campus.
The Coach Park is located outside the John Foster Building on
Mount Pleasant (see map opposite) where student helpers and
University staff will be waiting to assist you.
Coaches will also bring you back from the teaching buildings
to the Coach Park, should you wish to return to the Mount
Pleasant Campus.

Enjoy a tour of Liverpool by coach, led by a Blue Badge Guide, official
Tour Guides of Liverpool. Tours leave every 30 minutes from the City
Tour Bus Stop, Mount Pleasant (see map) and give you a chance to
explore the top tourist attractions of the city in comfort.

Library Tours
Liverpool is a really compact city making it easy to get around on
foot. If you would prefer to walk to a University building for your
faculty talk or tour, student helpers are on hand to direct you.
Walking maps are also available from any of the key information
points, Registration or the Accommodation stands.

A bustling city centre means we have
plenty of on-street and multi-storey car
parking options for you to choose from.
Car parking advice
Mount Pleasant Campus
While there is no onsite parking at the University, there are plenty
of car parking options in the immediate area within easy walking
distance. The closest multi-storey car park is located on Mount
Pleasant (see map page 14).
Byrom Street
Onsite parking is for permit holders only, please go online (advice below)
to find the most convenient car parking options within the area. For Byrom
Street, type ‘Fontenoy Street’ to get the best results.
I M Marsh Campus
There is no parking available at I M Marsh Campus. Please be aware
that there is a residents only parking scheme in operation within the
immediate vicinity mid-week. Full directions to I M Marsh (Barkhill
Road, L17 6BD) can be found online – please see our website.
