COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
PAPER:
Here are the requirements:
Choose a social problem you feel is out of control in society today. Your book is a good tool to find a topic.
I require at least 3 sources that need to be cited at the end of the paper – works you used as sources for you information. If you use
anything from your textbook, it must be cited. You can look online for the proper way to cite sources at the end of a research paper
by typing in a search for MLA style or APA style.
The following website has helpful tips for citing works at the end of a paper: http://www.liu.edu/CWIS/CWP/library/workshop
/citmla.htm
If you would like you can include your own experiences and/or opinions throughout the paper. The paper has to be at least 5 pages
typed and double spaced – anything less and points will be deducted, so please make sure you print it and it totals 5 pages before you
turn it in. Turn it in by November 9th through email - as an attachment – specifically as a word document!!
