Investment restrictions in accordance with Art. 19a (3) (a) and (b) FZV in conjunction with Arts. 49-58 Verordnung über die berufliche Alters-,
Hinterlassenen- und Invalidenvorsorge "BVV2" (Occupational Pension Funds Ordinance).
a. Direct investments in bonds and other debt instruments:
Investments may be made in bonds guaranteed by the federal government or cantons, Swiss mortgage bonds (Pfandbriefe), medium-term notes and time
deposits at FINMA-regulated banks; such debt claims must be denominated in Swiss francs.
b. Collective investment schemes:
Investments may be made in collective investment schemes, which are regulated by FINMA, authorised for sale in Switzerland by FINMA, or have been
established by Swiss investment foundations. Collective investment schemes may invest in the following investments:
•
No more than 30% real estate, with a maximum of 1/3 outside Switzerland;
•
Swiss or foreign equities, maximum of 50%; tradable equities only;
•
Swiss or foreign bonds, no limit;
•
No more than 15% in alternative investments, investments with no obligation to provide additional capital only;
•
Mortgages and other charges on land, subject to a maximum of 50%, maximum 80% loan-to-value ratio;
•
Cash and debt claims with entitlement to a fixed sum, no limit;
•
Individual limits: for bonds 10% per issuer (no limit for government bonds etc.); for equities 5% per company; for real estate 5% per item of real
estate. Foreign exchange investments with no currency hedging, subject to a maximum of 30%.
Withholding tax reclaims
The Member hereby authorises Schroder Vested Benefits Foundation until further notice to reclaim any withholding tax payable on income due in his/her
name and on his/her behalf from the Swiss Federal Tax Administration by using the cashless payment process to facilitate the transfer of tax. The
Member is aware that he/she may not therefore reclaim withholding tax directly from the Swiss Federal Tax Administration.

interest rate or to any guaranteed asset value.
