Nathan Coley: There Will Be No Miracles Here, (7 January - 31 December) Tickets: Free Turner-nominated Scottish artist Nathan Coley's illuminated text in the garden of the Dean Gallery is taken from a 17th Century royal proclamation made in a French town believed to have been the frequent site of miracles. Christen Kobke: Danish Master of Light, (5 July-30 October) The most exhaustive selection of paintings by the pre-eminent Danish painter (1810-1848) ever to be shown outside Denmark, with around forty of his works on display. Kobke's characteristically elegant composition and clean, luminous treatment of light and colour marked him out as one of the foremost painters of Denmark's Golden Age.
