Over 34,000 young Scots sat SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority) Art and Design
national course examinations in 2007. The A Exhibition showcases over 100
inspirational and imaginative exhibits by the cream of Scotland's young artists. Every
piece gained top marks!
The exhibition includes paintings, sculpture, design, ceramics, fashion and jewellery.

Edward Stewart (b. 1961) and Stephanie Smith (b. 1968) are artists who have used
sculpture, films and installation to explore relationships between ourselves and the body.

Atmospheric and at times disquieting, this new work transforms the domestic-scaled
rooms of Inverleith House for which it has been specifically made. Internationallyrenowned, these Glasgow-based artists were recent recipients of a Scottish Arts Council
Creative Scotland Award in 2006.
