Open Source University is a free Red Hat Academy program that enables colleges and universities to deliver introductory Linux curriculum to students. The program includes web-based XML courses and labs, along with innovative lab checking and student management utilities. 1. Instructor certification: Determine who your instructor(s) will be and which certification classes and testing, if any, need to be acquired. Your Red Hat Academy representative can help you enroll. To be eligible, the participating campus must meet minimum requirements. The campus must have a certified RHCT instructor, RHCE-certified support, and community participation. Technical Requirements The Open Source University website (osu.redhat.com) hosts almost all aspects of the Red Hat Academy program. From the website, instructors can enable course elements (such as workbook lessons and tests) and monitor student performance.
