 Please consult your health care provider before beginning any weight loss or exercise
program.















The Biggest Loser will last a total of 8 weeks
Each participant will have the opportunity to weigh in a total of 8 times (first and final weigh in
required)
All weigh ins are on Friday mornings between 8am and 10am in CC 153 (if you do not attend a weigh
in, you will be ineligible for the weekly drawing). If you are unable to attend Fridays, you may email
your current weight BEFORRE 10:00am on Friday morning.
There will be 8 group challenges held:
1. Keep a food Journal
2. Work out 30 minutes every day
3. Walking Week
4. Reduce your Stress
5. Carry your weight
6. Walk a Mile Challenge
7. Fruit and Veggie Challenge
8. Water Challenge
Activity challenges are week long and will begin on Mondays and end on Fridays at weigh in.
No one will be eliminated
Each participant and team will have the chance to work with a trainer

There will be one activity class available each week ($5 for drop in rate, or only $30 if you pay for all 10
classes at the beginning of the term), to help you with your weight loss. The class will be Monday
evenings at 5:30 in the Gregory Forum section C (specific activity TBD).
There are staff only workout sessions available in the fitness center on T/Th 6:30am-8:00am. You can
also use the fitness center at any open times M 8:30-10:00am & 1:00-6:00pm T/TH: noon-8:00pm W:
8:30-10:00am & 1:00-8:00pm F: 8:30-10:00am & 1:00 – 5:00pm
Participation in workout sessions is encouraged, but not required
Water Consumption-Participants must drink plenty of water/fluids throughout the competition
Food Consumption- Not eating will not be allowed! The best way to lose weight is to eat healthy foods
throughout the day!
Excessive Exercise-Exercise is important; however excessive exercise is not permitted. If the staff or
trainer feels you are over exerting yourself to the point of physical or mental harm, you may be
removed from the competition.
The final results are based on the percentage of body weight lost. In the event of a tie, the following
will be considered: effort, number of workouts and weigh ins completed and activity participation.
No refunds!
Cost is $10 per participant. The winning team earns the title of reigning Biggest Loser, and a fabulous prize
(Equal in amount to half of the money collected—the more participants, the bigger the final prize!)

Clackamas Community College wants to encourage healthy lifestyles. This is a fun contest to reward
you for your weight loss. It takes time and accountability to build lasting changes and healthy habits.
This Biggest Loser contest will last 8 weeks and you will compete as a team of four people. The
groups help with encouragement and create a system for recording weekly weights.
Sign up deadline is Friday, October 3. Contest begins October 10 and ends December 5. Sign up on
this form or in CC 152. Please fill the form out completely. You may choose your own teammates, or
we can assign teammates based on information on this form. Please fill out the form completely so
we can put you with a group of people who can work out at the same time. You are not required to
work out with teammates, but can be an important part of attaining your goals.
All CCC employees (part time and full time) are eligible to participate.
Please sign this registration form and waiver prior to the deadline. (October 3)
Will be held Friday, October 3. At least one member from each team should attend, all are welcome
to attend!
There will be a weekly weigh in on Friday mornings in CC 153 (there will be a private office and closed
door). The scale will be available from 7:45am till 10:00am. If you miss a weigh in, you will not be
eligible for weekly prizes, and your score will be entered as 0 for that week. If you cannot attend a
weigh in-you may also email your weight before 10:00am (tracyn@clackamas.edu or
mbaker@clackamas.edu).
Each week by participating in challenges, activities and classes, you will earn tickets to be entered
into a weekly drawing for fun prizes. Drawings will occur on Fridays at noon. Winner will be notified
by email to claim their prize.
Weekly prizes will include items such as tee-shirts, water bottles, gift cards, recipe books, etc.
The team who has lost the highest percentage of weight as calculated by beginning weight in
comparison to ending weight of each person, and then added together. For example: Member 1
began at 200lbs, and ended at 180lbs. This amounts to 10% of weight loss.
The winning team earns the title of reigning Biggest Losers, and a fabulous prize (equal in amount to
half of the money collected—the more participants, the bigger the final prize!)
