Carley Connors is a 12 year old girl who used to live in Las Vegas with her fun
mom and step dad. Then a betrayal that lands her in foster care leaves her with the
Murphys. She doesn't like them at first but by the end, she does not want to leave
them to go back to Las Vegas.

My favorite parts
One of my favorite parts is when she tells about how she ends up in foster care. Its
both sad and intense. Here's a sneak peek of how she ends up at the murphys, her
step dad, Dennis, was hurting her, so one night the police came and arrested Dennis.
Carley and her mom went to the hospital. The next day she went to the murphys.
now you know why it was sad. I also have a favorite line from that book, the line is
“be someone's hero.”

I would recommend this to a friend. I already recommended this to my dad, grandma
and a friend. I would recommend it because it is exciting from the first page.

Hi I read your book, One for the murphys. Was this a true story or did you make it
up? I love the line “ Be someone's hero.” This book inspired me and I hope it will for
others too. Keep writing amazing books.
