One for the Murphys

Carley’s tough and she’s not about to let you think otherwise. Never mind what
happened to her and her mother that night – Carley just wishes she hadn’t made
her stepfather so mad.
Now she’s in foster care until her mom gets better, but this
Murphy family is just too much. They want her to talk about
her feelings and feel included. She’s not used to any of this,
and she’s not about to change for strangers.
But as days turn into months, they aren’t strangers anymore.
Like it or not, Carley is learning to be a Murphy.
