ROHLEDER Thank you so much for joining us tonight for our annual dinner and silent auction! Many volunteers have worked hard to provide you with an enjoyable evening of fellowship and fun. We are blessed to be able to present you with a wide variety of items which have been donated by our school families and the local community. Your active participation in tonight’s event is an important part of our school improvement plan. Each year the PTF, in collaboration with the school, identifies a major improvement project. Our new gym floor is the result of a few years of fundraising efforts. Last year, the project selected was the enhancement of technology for each of the classrooms. The funds raised in our last auction enabled the school to purchase seven interactive whiteboard projectors, two standard projectors, seven document cameras, and the hardware required to mount and use this equipment, as well as a few other computer related improvements. We have decided to continue this project for an additional year. Although we now have a projector in every classroom, our goal is to further enhance each room with a more complete system of components which work together to improve student interaction and teaching capabilities. We will also be working to build and enhance our school’s computer network and wireless capacity. We encourage you to bid generously as your support tonight will help us reach our goal of improving technology and its integration in every classroom and throughout our entire campus. I want to thank the members of our spring fundraiser team for their hard work and efforts towards this event. It is because of their time, energy, talents, and hard work over the past year that we are here! WCCA is truly blessed by this team and by each member of our school community who volunteers to work together through our Parent-Teacher-Fellowship. We pray tonight’s fundraiser will be honoring to God and that the results will have an eternal impact on students and their families for years to come. Russell Rohleder, Principal Walnut Creek Christian Academy 4 LETTER FROM THE AUCTION CHAIRS Welcome to WCCA’s Dinner & Silent Auction! It is such a blessing to have you here tonight, coming together to support the academy and our kids. We hope you have an enjoyable evening of fellowship and fun. This event could not have happened without the help and generosity of so many and we are very grateful for each and every one of you. The Lord has blessed us all with different gifts and when brought together, those gifts created this evening. Thank you to the donors, volunteers and especially the auction committee. It has been an honor to work with each of you. When you see the committee and volunteers who have dedicated many hours of time, had unending energy and put their heart into this event, please thank them. For those in attendance, thank you for coming! It wouldn’t be a successful event without you. We encourage you to bid generously as your support will help us reach our goal of updating technology in the classrooms to give our children the best possible education. May God be glorified through tonight’s event and the funds raised be used to bring Him honor.
