are many benefits to working with a Personal Trainer, including:

Personal Training Options
How to Get Started
You’re in good hands at Trico Centre! Our Personal Trainers are
educated to a standard that is among the highest for any facility
in Calgary.
Achieve your goals! Trico Centre offers several personal training
options to meet your needs and budget. Find more details in our
Program Guide.
At a minimum, our trainers have completed a minimum of a
one-year program in personal training from a recognized postsecondary institution, such as Mount Royal University or
The University of Calgary. Several have diplomas or degrees in
fitness-related studies such as kinesiology.
Individualized Personal Training (12+ years)
• Build strength and/or work on your cardiovascular endurance
• Train with a program that is custom-designed for you to meet
your goals

Services representative or visit us in person. Together we’ll determine
the right training option(s) for you, then you can register for one or
more services. That’s all it takes to start on the road to reaching your
exercise goals!
Many Trico Centre trainers are current or former athletes and all of
our trainers have one or more additional specializations, including:

• Older Adult Fitness
• Pre- and Post-Natal Fitness

Small Group Training (12+ years)
• Bring a friend and get all the benefits of personal training at a
reduced per-session cost
• Groups can be up to three people
Specialized Personal Training (12+ years)
Consider this option if you have specialized needs, are not ready
to go into a group class, want to advance faster, or just prefer oneon-one instruction. Options include Pilates, Kickboxing, Yoga, Aqua
Fitness, and more.
One-Hour Fitness Assessment (12+ years)
Take the first step towards a healthier lifestyle with a one-hour fitness
assessment. We’ll measure your overall fitness level, discuss the
results with you, and make recommendations for improvements.
Custom Program Design (12+ years)
Let our team of professionals design a customized program to keep
you motivated, make the best use of your time and help you attain
your fitness goals. An initial half-hour consultation is followed
by a one-hour session. We will help you define your fitness goals,
develop a workout schedule, and provide exercises for you.
