Cinderella Man Response (40 points)
During the viewing of Cinderella Man, try to follow how the film explains some key points of the Great
Depression and the New Deal. Your assignment will be to write a one-page (minimum), single-spaced, handwritten, free-form response that shows your understanding of these key points and how they did or did not
play out in the film. In your response you must address at least one (1) of the topics listed in each box
below. Within your essay, underline the topics you will discuss and explain how they were discussed in the
film –
1) How did the film show that topic?
2) Did the film show an accurate or an inaccurate representation of that topic?
Remember, this is not a summary of the film; it is your response to the film based the topic points listed below
(two from each box for a total of ten overall).
