BASIC STAMP MODULES
BASIC Stamps are small computers with 8 or 16 I/O lines that can be connected to TTL level devices and also, with a few extra components, solenoids, relays, and RS232 networks. Their simple language and easy interfacing make BASIC
Stamps ideal for many applications for industrial, educational, and hobbyist customers. BASIC Stamps require only editor software, a prototype area, and cable to get started. Each BASIC Stamp has on board it’s own non-volatile EEPROM,
voltage regulator, resonator, and microcontroller.

The popular SX Tech Tool Kit is an excellent starting point to get
you developing SX projects with Parallax's SX-Key programming
tool. Upon receiving the kit, you will be able to program SX chips
within the hour. A power supply is not included.
The SX-Key is Parallax's primary development tool for the SX line
of microcontrollers, supporting every chip that is commercially
available. Using the free SX-Key software, the SX-Key programming
tool can program SX chips in-system and perform in-circuit
source-level debugging. Also at the user's fingertips is an on-board
programmable clock. The frequency output of this clock is adjusted
from the software with a slider bar between 400kHz and 100MHz.
The software operates on Win98/NT/2K/XP platforms.
