why we don't accept glass in mixed recycling carts

advertisement
Please, no glass in recycling carts!
Glass breaks into very small pieces and gets embedded in paper that is sent to local paper mills.
The glass pieces act like sandpaper and do thousands of dollars worth of damage to equipment.
Please help us by NOT including glass in your mixed-recycling carts. Always place glass in a separate “Glass-only” container
for recycling collection.
