P&GTM R&D Global Product Stewardship position in Brussels The Global Product Stewardship Department at Brussels is looking for a project leader in product safety & regulatory affairs to support our Fabric & Home Care business. The candidate will be qualified to MSc/Ph.D or B.Sc. with equivalent experience in human or environmental toxicology or related biological sciences and will have a strong interest in regulatory affairs. Role Description: You will be responsible for providing global product safety & regulatory stewardship for a Fabric & Home Care product category. You will share human safety, regulatory and environmental safety/sustainability guidance to R&D and business partners. This requires regular interactions with central initiative teams and close collaboration with functional safety, regulatory experts and “go to market” regional & local market colleagues, to capture all relevant perspective in managing global projects. Additionally, you will develop EU regulatory expertise and provide functional support in this area. Within our worldwide Global Product Stewardship organization, you will be part of a group of managers responsible for developing and implementing safety and regulatory solutions for our fabric and home care products. You will be given specific responsibilities on projects that will involve part or all of the following, depending on the size and complexity of the project: Define and evaluate technical options for achieving business objectives focusing on safety and regulatory compliance. Prepare expert reviews, dossiers and risk assessments to support new product launches and provide ongoing in market product support. Develop new work processes supporting safety and regulatory decision making and establish these work processes across the organization. In your first assignment you will have the opportunity to immediately contribute to the business through direct responsibilities in regional and global projects. You will support other projects that stretch & grow your functional expertise and project management abilities by learning on the job. You will work in professional and entrepreneurial cross-functional teams in one of the company's major business categories, our Fabric & Home Care business unit. Qualifications: The candidate will be qualified to MSc/Ph.D or B.Sc. with equivalent experience in human or environmental toxicology or related biological sciences and will have a strong interest in regulatory affairs.
