“Big Cash Game”
Contest Rules
1. How to Enter the Contest:
a.
The “Big Cash Game” contest will begin on Monday September 22, 2008 at 6am
and will end on Wednesday, November 26, 2008.
b.
To participate in the contest, you must obtain a qualifying Impact Directories
Phone Book, which includes a serial number, or a Big Cash Game Card, which
also includes a serial number. The printed serial numbers on the inside of the
Impact Directories Phone Book made available in Ada County range from
100,000 to 292,500 and Big Cash Game Cards range from 817,000 to 833,000.
Impact Directories Phone Books will be delivered to homes and businesses in Ada
County. The serial number is located on the inside front cover of each qualifying
Impact Directories phone book. Big Cash Game Cards will be available during
normal business hours. Any additional sponsor(s) locations will be announced on
the air and posted on www.kqfc.com during the contest period. Station will also
conduct remote broadcasts and 1-hour hot stops throughout the contest period
where listeners will be able to obtain Big Cash Game Cards. The dates, times and
locations of these remote broadcasts will be announced on air. Game Passes will
also be available at the KQFC studio. Once you have obtained a serial number,
either via a Phone Book or a Game Card, you must then listen to 97.9 KQFC
Monday through Friday during the contest period and during the following times:
7:30a – 9:30a – 11:30a – 1:30p – 3:30p – 5:30p (Mountain Time). *Station may
play contest up to but not to exceed ten (10) times each day.* - When you hear the
“cash sounder” cue to call in followed by that days winning number announced on
air during the above times, contestants with the serial number in their Impact
Directories phone book or game card that matches the number announced on air
will have ten (10) minutes to call the request lines at (208) 336-3298 to claim their
prize (subject to confirmation of eligibility). The first caller to successfully get
through within 10 minutes after the number is announced and has the matching
number in their PDC phone book will be deemed the winner and will win the
prize announced along with that cue to call in. There is a maximum of one (1)
winner per announced number. In the case of any duplication, the “first” person
to verify the winning number will win the prize announced. Station is not
responsible for any lost, disconnected, dropped, misdirected or incomplete
telephone calls. Entrants may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the station.
c.
There is a maximum of one winner per household, per 6-months within any Citadel
Broadcasting Corp Station to include 670 KBOI, 92.3 KIZN, 96.9 KKGL, 1350
KTIK, and 93.1 KZMG

2. Eligibility Restrictions:

a.
The contest is open to all KQFC listeners who are legal United States citizens 18
years of age or older and who reside in KQFC listening area in the State of Idaho.
Employees of KQFC, its licensee, Citadel Broadcasting Corporation, their
subsidiaries, affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating
sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Idaho area and the
members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.
Immediate family shall include spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents,
grandchildren and any other person residing within the same household.
b.
Listeners are eligible to win a KQFC cash contest only once 6-months. Only one
winner per household is permitted in any contest.
c.
Participants in the contest must possess valid government issued photo
identification.
d.
All winners must provide the original winning Impact Directories phone book or Big
Cash Game Card as verification of their winnings, no copies will be accepted. All
winners must also sign a liability release in connection with the receipt of their prize.
Prizes:
The following prizes will be offered in this Contest:
a.
Cash prize is provided by Impact Directories Phone Company. Cash awarded will
vary from $100.00 up to $2,000.00 (each varying prize amount will be announced
along with the cue to call in to win that prize) – Total cash to be given away on
97.9 KQFC up to $25,000.00. Total cash to be given away between all (6) six
Citadel Broadcasting Corp in Boise, ID up to $100,000.00
b. Winner will be required to stop by the station at 1419 W. Bannock – Boise, ID 83702
to sign a W-9 form for the value of the prize before prize is awarded or mailed.
c. Winner will be required to sign a liability release in connection with the receipt of
any prize.
d. Prize will be mailed to winner within 3-weeks of signing the required W9 form.
Winner assumes the risk of arrival. KQFC, Citadel Broadcasting Corp. is not
responsible for any misdirected, misdelivered, or lost mail.
e. Contest prizes are non-transferable.
f. Grand Prize winner will receive 1099 IRS Tax form for the value of the grand prize if
valued over $599 or more as stated in these contest rules.

g. Prizes are limited solely to those items explicitly set forth herein shall not include any
and all other expenses, incidentals or taxes that may arise out of the winner’s receipt
of this prize.
h. Prizes will be awarded as is, with no written or express warranty.
4.
Selection of Winners:
a.
Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final. Contest rules
may be changed at any time without prior notification.
b.
As described in section 1 of these contest rules, be Caller # 10 on the request line at
(208) 336-3298 when you hear the “cash sounder” cue to call in followed by an
Impact Directories Phone Book or Big Cash Game Card number announced on air.
Contestant(s) who have the matching number inside their Impact Directories Phone
book will have ten (10) minutes to call back and claim their prize. Winners must
meet all eligibility requirements set forth herein.
c.
Monday thru Friday October 22, 2008 – November 26, 2008 (Times are: 7:30a –
9:30a – 11:30a – 1:30p – 3:30p & 5:30p (Mountain Times)
d.
Winner must be listening during the specified contest times listed above.
e.
The odds of winning depend upon the number of listeners who participate in the
contest.
5. Conditions:
a.
Photo identification and social security number of the Grand Prize winner may also
be required in order to collect the prize. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes
are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be required to sign an IRS
Form W-9 or the equivalent. Winner will receive a 1099 for the value of the prize as
stated in these contest rules.
b.
Winner is required to sign a release in order receive their prize. Failure or refusal to
execute the release will result in winner forfeiting the prize. Pursuant to the liability
release, the winners will agree to hold KQFC, its licensee, Citadel Broadcasting
Corporation, their subsidiaries, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders,
directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any
and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation
in the contest.
c.
By participating in the contest, the winner or winners (and their guest or traveling
companion, if applicable) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any

advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional
financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of
the prize.
d.
The Station reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify the contest rules and
dates at any time for any reason. Material modifications shall be announced on-air,
when practical. By participating in this contest, you agree to be bound by these
contest rules, any modifications thereof, and by all other rules imposed by Station
management. If due to circumstances beyond the control of Station, any event
associated with this contest or the prize is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or
cancelled, Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the
contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
e.
No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
f.
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification,
at the sole discretion of KQFC.
g.
KQFC is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering
or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
h.
Copies of the written contest rules and a list of all winners are available during
regular business hours at the main studio of KQFC, 1419 W. Bannock – Boise, ID
83702 or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to KQFC.
i.
Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of greater or equal value at its sole
discretion.
j.
Contest rules are subject to change without notice.
