Course Abbreviations:
To make the assignment titles more readable, we have used abbreviations in the
titles. Below is a list of the abbreviations and an example. If you have any
additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact your instructor!
An assignment title will have an identification label at the beginning, such as
M1L1N1 …
M stands for Module. The module # follows the “M”. In the example above,
the assignment is in Module 1.
L stands for Lesson. The lesson # follows the “L”. In the example above, the
assignment is in Lesson 1.
There are four sections to every lesson: Notes, Practice, Mastery Assignment(s),
and Remediation (which will only be made available to students as needed and is
not visible in the main course). The abbreviations used are:
 N stands for Notes.
 P stands for Practice
 M stands for Mastery Assignment
 R stands for Remediation
The assignments are numbered in the order we intend for you to complete the
work. So the last # in the example tells you this is the first assignment you
should complete in the Notes section.
Here are some more examples – the short version that you will see on the
course is on the left, and the written-out version is on the right:
