M) Stands for multiplication
D) Stands for division
A) Stands for addition
S) Stands for subtraction
Step 1
Look at the problem
 Then go down the line.
 Does the problem have any groupings?


If yes re-write the problem
Keep doing that but change the
groupings to exponents or
multiplication etc.
