Ross McLauchlan – Partner
Audrey Cowan – Supervisor
Ross McLauchlan heads up our
Internal Audit Unit. He has extensive
audit experience as lead partner for
Internal Audit clients throughout the
UK. He is responsible for clients across
various sectors, including Further
Education, Housing and the wider
Public and Private Sector. A C.A. by qualification, Ross is
also an affiliate member of CIIA and a member of the Fraud
Advisory Panel for the UK.
Audrey joined Wylie & Bisset in
January 2012 after having worked for
15 years with an international firm of
Chartered Accountants. During this
time Audrey specialised in providing
internal audit services to clients in a
variety of sectors including Education,
Housing, NHS and Charities. Audrey
brings a wealth of experience to Wylie & Bisset as a result of
her involvement in regulatory and governance reviews,
specifically designed assignments and value for money
studies. She is an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute
of Internal Auditors and also a Member of the Fraud Advisory
Panel for the UK.
Allister Gray – Partner
Allister is the Audit Compliance Partner
for the firm and is involved with many
of our clients both in an internal and
external audit capacity. Allister has
also been involved in a number of
consultancy and due diligence
exercises for the firm.
Graham Gillespie - Manager
Graham is the Internal Audit Manager
of the firm and he has gained
considerable experience of advising
companies in various industry sectors,
specifically the Public Sector and
Education. Graham is involved in
many of the internal audit assignments
that Wylie & Bisset undertake and has been involved in
numerous VFM studies and leading on special investigations.
He is an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Internal
Auditors and also a Member of the Fraud Advisory Panel for
the UK.
Jonathan Gouck – Audit Senior
Jonathan joined Wylie & Bisset in April
2013 as an Internal Audit Senior.
Jonathan began his career with one of
the ‘Big 4’ accountancy firms in 2004 in
an audit & assurance role and worked in
practice for the following 5 years. He
then joined the UK operation of a US
listed aerospace company as their
compliance accountant. His role was to assess the internal
control environment of the business to ensure compliance
with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and report on internal controls
for the UK to the US Headquarters. Jonathan is involved with
a number of Wylie & Bisset’s Internal Audit clients.

Paul Urquhart – Audit Senior
Ricky Meechan – IT Auditor
Paul began his CA training contract with
Wylie & Bisset in 2010 and qualified as a
Chartered Accountant in August 2013.
Throughout his time with Wylie & Bisset,
Paul has been involved on numerous
internal and external audit assignments
for a variety of clients in different sectors.
Paul is now focussing his career on
internal audit and is involved in leading the on site internal
audit team for a number of Wylie & Bisset’s Internal Audit
clients.
Ricky has worked in the IT industry for
over 6 years, working as an IT Support
Engineer/Consultant and has more
recently focussed his career on IT audit.
During his time in the industry he has
controlled client networks, including
maintaining their network, auditing their
workplace, providing
consultation,
providing documentation and reports where required and
developing strong relationships with clients, customers and
suppliers.
