Healthy school life
We have joined the CUHK Healthy School Award Scheme
and the EatSmart School Accreditation Scheme, providing
information about healthy lunches and snacks to our
learners. We participate in 'Brown/Red Rice Day' and 'Fruit
Day'.
We have also joined the Children's Chiropractic Foundation
Health Scheme. We carry out spine-strengthening exercises.
Remarks
In our curriculum we encourage holistic health education and
environmental protection knowledge. We actively encourage our
learners to be eco-friendly.
In these 3 years, we have won the Gold Award (2012-2015) for
the HK Healthy Schools Award Scheme and we have achieved
the 2012-2015 EatSmart School Accreditation Scheme Basic
Level Accreditation, Advance Level Accreditation.

"To serve, but not to be served " is the Motto of S.K.H. Fung Kei Primary School. We seek to promote the Christian faith through providing children with
whole-person education underpinned by training in the six competence spheres as moral, intellectual, physical, sense of belonging, artistic and spiritual. We
endeavour to plough in our children seeds to a positive attitude to life, a just value system, and the Christian faith in the pursuit of justice, truth, and

We are under the organization of the Anglican (Hong Kong) Primary School Council Limited.
Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee:
The School Management Board members include: Supervisor, Experts, representatives of School Organization and School Principal.
School Green Policy:
We have joined the CUHK Health School Network Scheme 2010-2015. To implement the whole school approach Health School Policy, we have established
the Health Team and the Environmental Protection ambassadors to promote the Green policies and organise various Health and Environmental Protection
activities, and the continuous developmental projects.

Learning and Teaching Plan
Learning & Teaching Strategies :
1. We implemented the Small Class Teaching policy to facilitate group learning and collaborative learning strategies .
2. We promote the ethos of Christian whole-person education.
3. We highlight the importance of Language Teaching and Learning (Chinese, English and Putonghua) through lessons, drama, verse speaking, story-telling
language ambassadors, guided reading/writing and student interaction.
4. We promote cross-curricular cooperative learning and various other learning experiences to facilitate students' learning.
Development of Key Tasks :
1. We promote Moral and Civic Education to cultivate a Caring and Loving school atmosphere, and Christian values.
2. Through Morning reading sessions, Reading Parents Scheme, Reading and Story-telling language ambassadors, we enhance students' reading interest
and language level.
3. Tailored liberal study and project -making programs are carried out in senior class levels to enhance students' generic skills.
Development of Generic Skills:
To enhance students' generic skills through Educational Trip, Project Learning and Cross-Curriculum Learning Activities.
Student Support
Whole School Approach to Cater for Student Diversity:
We provide Remedial Classes in Chinese, English and Maths. After School Learning Support Projects, Creativity Development Programs, P.1 initiation
programs, P.6 Secondary Education Consultation/Interview Skills. Teacher Professional Development in Students' Diverse Learning Needs .
Curriculum Tailoring and Adaptation :
We provide Writing Classes for more able students. Matching students to reading levels leading to small group guided reading (NET scheme EDB, ATT
workshops). Morning reading sessions for outstanding readers in senior primary levels. We also provide the International Assessment for those students who
have achieved highly impressive results in English.
Home-school Co-operation and School Ethos
Home-School Co-operation:
1. "Parents and Teachers Assocation" as the Partner of the school. We provide various PTA activities, such as Parents workshops, talks and Reading
programmes.
2. PTA volunteer team takes part in various school activities: Sports Day, Swimming Gala, Graduation Dinner, Reading Mum, Bring Me a Book helper, lunch
helper, outdoor activities helper.
3. PTA members also monitor the service quality of students lunch box, school bus and school uniform .
School Ethos:
We cultivate among our students kindness, building respect for others, firm Christian values, self esteem and a sense of responsibility. Home-School
co-operation and guidance cultivated students' healthy mind and body.
