the JobShop Cell combines a lightning-fast
FANUC RoboDrill vertical machining center
with a fully interfaced FANUC LR Mate
200iC robotic loading system. The result
is an automated production cell perfectly
tailored to the needs of job shops: fast
setup for short production runs; increased
output; reduced need for / dependence
on qualified operators; fewer personnel
problems; reduced labor costs; flexibility
to handle a wide range of tasks and parts;
and a cost-effective means to compete in
today’s global economy.
The JobShop Cell is a complete preengineered, fully-integrated production
cell designed for simple installation, fast
setups and changeovers, operator safety,
and production flexibility. The heart of the
cell is the automotive-duty rated RoboDrill
VMC designed for years of continuous,
high-speed machining. The high-speed
6-axis FANUC LR Mate 200iC Robot
comes complete with grippers, a teaching
pendant, and several programs you can
easily customize to your specific needs. The
package includes fully-interfaced inbound
and outbound conveyors and guarding. The
standardized work handling interface is 6"
vise-compatible and offers the flexibility to
mix and match prepackaged hydraulic or
pneumatic valves to fit your workholding
requirements. An optional 4th axis and
an optional workholding fixture further
increase the cell’s utility and flexibility.
